  3. Hey everyone, With all the Victoria's secret pics coming out and new faces everywhere, did it ever make you itch to become a model yourself? Share your experiences! As for me, I once got spotted by an agent when I was 17, but back then my sister was dealing with an eating disorder and I was slim, but not thin enough to be a successful fashion model (5'10 ft, 125 lbs). My mom wouldn't have it either and reading of all the culprits eventually scared me off. Instead I chose to pursue my studies and just graduated from Uni. I'm 22 now, way too old. But sometimes I can't help but thinking "what if?" I know it's wishful thinking, because I'm not nearly as pretty as the succe…

What are your favorite fragrances? Do you have a signature scent? A perfume that you always wear? Or do you only wear perfume on special occassions? I have a little collection of perfume, but I love them all. My favorites are: Ralph Lauren - Lauren Style Christian Dior - Dior Addict Givenchy - Very Irresistible Chanel - No. 5 Chanel - Mademoiselle Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

Hey Ladies! Why is there no "Guy Talk" stuff in here? I'd love to imagine threads like "Who's best James Bond", "Wtf is your favorite BBQ steak?", "Socks - we all wear 'em" or "Do guys look strange when they use make-up?".. so if there's any opportunity and nothing that already exists and I'm too stupid to find - please think of giving us a "Guy Talk" Thank you Matthi

I love great eyebrows. They can either make or break a face. It's always something i instantly notice on someone. Appearences can be improved dramatically in some cases when the right frame suits the right picture, & it's always a touch of perfection when their groomed and shaped immaculately. Does anyone else have this obsession? I admire those who can endorse the look of full brows. Natural always manages to look so flattering & flawless. A la Natalia Vodianova & Lilane Ferrarezi & then there's the full yet shapely brow, sported by Lily Donaldson & Laryssa Castro The natural arches, Katja & Nicole Wondefully natural looking fram…

I want to start using eyeliner, but I have small eyes. I've read that black eyeliner can make small eyes even smaller, but I really want to start wearing it. Should I just line my upper lid only?

Found these recipes in nivea.com and did actually the first one yesterday and my face is so like baby skin anyway thought I should share this For dry skin: Mix two teaspoons of NIVEA Creme(like liquid) with one fresh egg yolk and one teaspoon of olive oil. Stir together until paste is pale yellow and smooth. Apply immediately on face, neck and décolleté leaving out area around eyes. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and feel how your skin is pleasantly relaxing. Take off with cleansing tissues. For tired and wide-pored skin try: Mix two teaspoons of NIVEA Creme with one teaspoon of curd and stir until mixture is smooth, then add 10 drops of lemon juice. Apply immediat…

I've just started this blog: http://www.let-them-rock.blogspot.com I think it's interesting to show you guys how celeb intepret fashion. I hate the fact the fashion world thinks that only tall white skinny girls are the only ones who can pull off a look. It's cruel but that's life. Agree?

i dont know if this is the right place for this thread, but, anyways, I am a lil confused about something... I am an aspiring model about 5'5" in height, and i sent in pictures to Ford models a while back. Of course i included my height, measurments and everything. They called me back, and said they wanted to see me, or come in for open calls. And i told them, i said "You know, I'm only 5'5" right?" And they said "Oh, yea, sure that's fine." Well, i went in, this was actually my first open call. of course knowing there's a chance they might not be interested. And i got this really snobby lady, kinda looked at me like "What are you doing here?" but, she told me that "oh…

French Lingerie for 4 year olds and Tweens A marketing campaign for a new line of French lingerie for four- to 12-year-olds is raising new concerns about how young girls are portrayed, along with questions about the role modern mothers play in sexualizing their daughters. The Internet campaign for the company Jours Après Lunes features girls in lace-trimmed bras and panties, some wearing pearls and sporting Brigitte Bardot-inspired hairdos. One girl is reclining in a lounge chair and another strikes a coquettish pose in front of a mirror. Ads for a line of lingerie for tweens show older girls hugging teddy bears while dressed in skimpy underwear. Although the ads hav…

  25. Well as the title says.. http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?sec=1&YOO...;sts=sr_women80 She's kinda tall & slim, like 175 cm/5'9 or whatever it is. So I doubt the the whole scarf-collar thingy will make her look stuffy. I wanted to buy a personal gift for once, you know? Not just a Spa-treatment etc. What do you think? Yes/No? Should I keep looking?
