Bellazon Competitions

I've been thinking about running some kind of ongoing 'ladder tournament' for a while now, that would mean we could have a continuously updating list of the most popular models on Bellazon, and also crown a monthly champion. Seeing as we are heading into a new decade I think I may as well take the plunge and get it started. The idea is that there are 25 'tiers', each tier consisting of 4 models (From tier 1 down to tier 25). Each of the tier 25 models will play a model from tier 24. The next day the winners each play a model from tier 23. This continues until we have 4 'Tier 1' models, who then play each other in quarter finals, semi finals, then a final again…

Last year I ran a Bellazon World Cup alongside the men's football competition (won by Brazil, represented by Lais Ribeiro). As it was fairly well received I thought I would run it again alongside the FIFA Women's World Cup that starts on June 7th. Last time I just picked a model to represent each country, but this year I'll try a 'Qualifying Stage', so we can fairly choose someone to represent each of the 24 nations taking part. As many of you will no doubt be aware, this was originally devised by Theron, who did it here in 2012 (although Pretty did most of the work that year, I believe), here in 2011 and here in 2010.
