Police spokeswoman Sherry Mercurio identified three of the victims of Wednesday's shooting as Abbott, who played for the band Damageplan, and two other men, Nathan Bray and Erin Halk. She identified the gunman as Nathan Gale, 25, of the Marysville area northwest of Columbus. She said there was no information on a motive or if he had any connection to the band. Which one of these songs are the best?

Please share your angry music or any other noisy/harmonious/disharmonious sounds that give energy to the beast.

All of the other instruments are usually anyone's game to most people. However, many see the drums, bass and the electric guitar (not the acoustic as much) to be a man's game generally. That said, there are women that hold their own in these departments .

"Nothin' makes my vadge wetter than a black man singing"---Mrs.Garrison, South Park Episode 903-Wing

just for fun and because I am listening to Coheed and Cambria right now, one of their albums is called: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness which was followed by: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow which are both ridicuously long titles, but maybe you know something to top them? other than that I like to listen to: The Fear Is Excruciating, But Therein Lies The Answer by Red Sparowes this one would be my personal runner up, but they (the Red Sparoews) have those pretty lenghty song titles, like: Buildings Began to Stretch Wide Across the Sky, And the Air Filled with a Reddish Glow or Mechan…

I recently started listening to Megadeth fairly heavily. Now, quite a long time ago I had gotten the album Youthanasia from the local library, and I really liked it. After that I always found some reason to keep putting off buying an album. Finally, this Christmas I used one of my gift cards to buy Rust In Peace. I was deeply impressed. I was expecting an album with a few good tracks, and a lot of filler. But it's really solid all the way through; sure, some tracks aren't as good as "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" or "Hangar 18," but songs like "Poison Was The Cure" and "Lucretia," that aren't nearly as well known, are brilliant. Literally my only complaint with the alb…

A thread for Psychedelic rock (and more generally Psychedelic music)

So, everyone has heard of Randy Rhodes. Everyone will agree he is the shit, and all his licks are extreamly well put together, fluid, faster than a kid gets food on his face, and darker than Allister Crowley's soul. Why you might ask? I heard once he sold his soul to satan... I don't know why, but I find that REALLY easy to believe... As satan was at one time the Angel of music, so why wouldn't he grant someone amazing musical talent for their soul? DISCUSS!

So, do you like Punk Rock? What do you think about it? Well, I'm not the biggest Punk listener, and I'm not THAT familiar with the genre, as I am with another kinds of Rock music. So it would be great to get some feedback and recommendations in this thread too. I listened quite some Punk though when I was 14 - 15 years old, specially the '70s Punk: the bands I listed in the poll. Around that time actually I started writing my own songs, inspired by The Sex Pistols. As for the poll, I listed the "first" three important bands of the genre, as there are so many other around the end of the '70s, early '80s. My vote there goes to The Clash Some music: Proba…
