If you like subtle humor and unusual characters, try this one. It's 1/2 hour and the first 2 seasons are on Netflix or Amazon. Eugene Levy and his son Dan came up with the show and both are in it. At first I thought this was going to be one of those shows that is one and done. It walks a thin line between ludicrous and hilarious. David Rose (Dan Levy) and Stevie Budd (Emily Hampshire) are great. Oh yeah, there's Alexis (Annie Murphy) also.

Michael C. Hall, formally is HBO's "Six Feet Under" now has his own show on Showtime, titled "Dexter". It also stars Erik King, Lauren Velez, and David Zayas, who are alums of HBO's "OZ. The show focuses on Dexter, a blood splatter expert for the Miami P.D. The twist is that he is also a SERIAL KILLER!!! However, he only kills people who are killers themselves, whether they be child molesters, people who kill for sport, human smugglers; etc. This makes him more of a vigilante than anything else. By killing these bad people, he is actually saving human lives. Of course, he hides this other side from his comrades in the Miami P.D., his foster sister, who is a cop, and his …

An amusing show that is surely getting a rise out of people. TV shows have alway been known to push the boundaries of our delicate sensitivities. This one is no exception. If you're easily offended, you probably won't like it. I just finished watching "Stannie Get Your Gun". Summary on TV.com

Why do I love this show? I have no idea. Maybe it's Charlie Sheen, maybe it's Jon Cryer...maybe it's the theme tume. Maybe it's April Bowlby. Yes, that must be it. No, truthfully it makes me laugh like a child. Silly, silly humour. Anyway, I'm almost certain that no one here likes the show (otherwise it'd probably have a thread already) but I thought I'd amuse myself by posting my own love for it here anyway.
