AnaBBarrosFan Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I'll start: Best show on television. Done. Quote
Frederick Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I've never seen an episode, much to the dismay of some of my contemporaries. Finally this week I got my hands on Season 1 and will now hopefully work my way through the episodes with relative ease and maximum joy! Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 It is an absolutely fantastic show. By the second episode you will be hooked. It is almost entirely driven by internal conflict, and is a little slow for some people, but I adore character based drama. Quote
anjelina Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 ive never seen it. im always so busy no time to sit and watch tv but ive heard its very good though. Quote
stillinwonderland Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I'm almost finished with the first season (one more episode to go), and it is really good. My favorite show on tv right now is still Breaking Bad, though. Quote

AnaBBarrosFan Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy. I used to be a fan of House, but that got rather old. Sadly, I don't feel like there are many good shows on TV, so I don't watch too much of it. With LOST gone (my favorite show of all time... though the finale left a sour taste in my mouth), I'm really only excited about those two shows. I'm trying to get into Rubicon, but it isn't clicking with me much. EDIT: I loved Rome and The Tudors, as well. But these shows aren't on anymore. Quote
gigiriva Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 It is almost entirely driven by internal conflict, and is a little slow for some people, but I adore character based drama.most of the tv series of the last 10 years are like that (Breaking Bad too) Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 It is almost entirely driven by internal conflict, and is a little slow for some people, but I adore character based drama.most of the tv series of the last 10 years are like that (Breaking Bad too)Yes but very few of them have been executed properly, and most of the conflict is external while the character ponders away and we're meant to believe the internal conflict means anything in the grand scheme of things. As for Braking Bad, I didn't say it wasn't. In fact, I'm sure it's a fantastic show, I'm just not a fan. Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 Any thoughts on the new season? Anyone? Quote
Michael* Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Completely missed this first time round, and while I've only just made it to the closing stages of series one (it's being shown from the start in the UK, in preparation for the new episodes), I'd go so far as to say it's the best thing on television at the moment. AnaBBarrosFan Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 For anyone watching this season: Is it just me, or is Joan annoying as fuck unless she's with Roger? They are so incredible together. Quote
gigiriva Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 She never annoys me GO ROGER! Poor Miss Blankenship Quote
