Hmm so I totally saw this thread at tFS, and let my feelings out. Okay so I wanted to know how you guys are offline, like you everyone knows a lot of the models that are very popular here. i.e Natasha, Hana, Raquel, Daria, etc. You're a fan of the work, you know them, you like their runway walk, you can basically point them out while glancing through a magazine. You and most people on this forum now them. But when you get offline, its much different; people don't even know there is a person named Daria (most of the time) and they just see a model and they'll be like oh pretty girl. I refuse for my friends to just say that, I point out the models, tell them there name…

Hi people, Is there any interest here in a catalog image archive? About four years ago, the pending demise of Bon Ton spurred me into action, archiving the entirety of their catalog images. Likewise with Sears, although that one still lives on. Since then, I've been hanging around digital archivist's forums and my side hobby sort of grew into a major undertaking. I wrote my own software to automate the HQ downloads and used AI to weed out images of products/clothing-only from the models. Now in my opinion any actress worth her salt can be a model, fashion or otherwise and that is bourne out by the number of beautiful actresses in layouts for most anything; Chanel, Gucci, Guess, you get the picture. But a model who tries to make the move to the big picture, well thats someone who commands respect and admiration. Here's a couple who tried, some better than others.
