This thread is for guitar solos . Though technical performing skills (singing, instrument playing) in general don't seem to be as important to today's mainstream music industry ..., I love the way a good guitar solo pours out the heart, soul and guts of a song. As I stated before, I love all of the obvious classic solos and anything by Django Reinhardt, Joe Pass and Jimi Hendrix. I love guitar solos from all genres, whether it is classical, blues, jazz, country, acoustic, rock, flamenco,"latin"...I encourage you to share your favorites, there are no right or wrong answers.

Well, the title pretty much says it all: those songs everybody seems to lose their minds over or those that are considered timeless classics but you just can't stand or simply don't like. I'll start with: Still Loving You - Scorpions Maybe it's because I used to listened to a radio that abused too much of this song and would program it like everyday. Has anyone checked out LaToya London's CD? It's been out for a couple months, but my friend just had me listen to it. She got a free copy from her work at universal. I really think LaToya has a great voice. The R&B ballads were the best of the CD, songs like Waiting For You and Every Part Me are my favorites. I think with more development she could take the path of a Whitney or Toni Braxton. She's pretty too. I've checking out her pics on her webpage and she has a lot of style, with really nice skin, and cute petite body.
