I would assume that means the Swim special is no more (thank god). I'm a bit surprised by this because I felt like they shot more swim than ever during 2014-2015.

Probably to see if there was an upward trend? It'll be interesting to see if they really do replace swim with more vsx. Last I saw the sport bras weren't selling that well either.

If they do stop making swim, which was not what I think the press realese meant, that would mean the girls could work for other swim brands which would be prettt cool.

If it means the girls can work with other brands that's fine but if they still keep them from working, then VS's pretty stupid.

Is it possible that Swim sales was doing bad so in early 2015 they decided to release the swim special in hopes of getting more attention but it failed, twice? 

 

Also, I'm not sad if it does go. I never really bought swimwear or bras for that matter from VS. 

never bought anything because VS is too expensive for me but i liked the shoots but if the models are free to model other swimwear it would be amazing!

Never bought swim there either. You can get the same quality and better designs for cheaper other places. 

 

I'm surprised that beauty is a big enough seller for them that it made the cut.  

Yeah I definitely thought if anything would be cut itd be their beauty section lol. Their swim has looked trash and dated lately tho 

VS without swim is like VS without Stephanie Daniela Tyra Gisele Heidi Adriana. It cannot be.

I think VS will still have Swim but swimsuits will be available only online for the most part.

I remember that Marisa Miller was promoting VS Swim when swimsuits became available at Victoria’s Secret stores. She talked about how great it was that girls could come in and try the suits on, mix and match, pick a different size top and bottom etc. instead of ordering from the catalogue like before.

Apparently, Swim was popular for a while but it seems that it’ll go back to being a category that is available only by ordering through the website or by mail order.
