It makes sense that Matt Damon is being mentioned, considering Affleck's affiliation with DC now. Now that I think about it though, I'd have no problem seeing Rayner swapped out for Gardner. If they ever went down the road of Jordan falling from grace or something bad happening to the Corps, they could bring Kyle in later on for a sort of torchbearer/underdog role. With tons of fun background content, aliens and magic, emotional spectrum and colourful characters, it’s a franchise that could and should be so easy to get right. All they need really is for someone to see its potential.
