Some tips for flawless skin is to use a good basic cleanser that cleans well but does not strip the skin. It is not exciting but what dermatologists recommend. For dry skin, try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and for oilier skin, Cetaphil has a foaming cleanser. The Gentle Skin Cleanser does not remove makeup well so you may have to use a separate makeup remover. People with oily skin tend to over cleanse and strip their skin of its natural oils. When you do this, the skin will actually overcompensate for the stripping by secreting even MORE oils. So the goal of cleansing is not to get it squeaky clean but to get it cleaned but also PH balanced.

There are lots of options out there but also lots of formulations that have ingredients that may actually make your skin behave badly. This is because things that smell good sells even though fragrance (no matter natural or synthetic) is irritating to your skin.

IT helps to get to know what actually goes into a product so you don't waste your money on something that won't work or will make things worse.

Lastly, do not ever try too many new products at once. If your skin gets irritating or breaks out, you'll never know which product did it. Try things one at a time. Your skin takes about 2 or more weeks to show its full effects.

I have a question...

I recently stopped picking my pimples and like... squeezing pores (disgusting, I know), but I have little purple or red blotches on my skin now. Any tips on how to speed up the fading process?

cocoa butter should fade them faster, sometimes they even have a cream that will speed the process of the fading. But try cocoa butter first to see how it works.

Brenna, Exfoliating also helps speed up the healing proccess because it removes the top layer of dead skin. I use Clinique's Deep Cleansing Emergency mask and it speeds up the pocess some. Sadly, I don't think anything will give immediate results.

after coming out of the shower use olay quench...for your face let it be how it is...u have to be clean in general for your skin to be clean..drink water..eat fruits..veggies..include meat..have the good carbs in there..soo yea

I have oily skin so make up is a no no for me, I break out to make up easily. I just use a gentle cleanser and sunblock in the morning, I live in a tropical country, so its summer all year round. my only make up is eyeliner, I like to look pale..hahaha \m/

I really don' t use make up, because I had acne problem in the skin. I like going to gym, walking and I like to wearing cotton underwear. I use natural products and some from chemistry, and I love sleeping, a lot!
