December 20, 201014 yr So give me an NFL team to support. They can't be favorites to win the title in the near future, since I don't want to be some douchebag bandwagon jumper. But they can't be cursed no-hopers either. So don't dare suggest the Detroit Lions.
December 20, 201014 yr Can you even watch NFL games in Belgium? So give me an NFL team to support. The Ravens of course! And I'm sure the other Matt will say the Eagles. They can't be favorites to win the title in the near future, since I don't want to be some douchebag bandwagon jumper. If you don't want to be a douchebag bandwagon jumper then you don't want to root for the Patriots or Colts. I'd say a good team to root for is the Green Bay Packers. They're one of the most talented teams in the league and came into this year as a Super Bowl favorite, but they've underachieved a little and they'll be lucky to make the playoffs. I find the Falcons and Saints easy to root for too, but the Falcons have the best record in football (although I think they're a little overrated) and the Saints won it all last year, so neither meets your criteria. Notice how all the teams I chose are in the NFC conference. I wish all AFC teams besides the Ravens nothing but losses and injury. So don't dare suggest the Detroit Lions. I actually think the Lions are on the rise. They already had one of the best wide receivers in the league, and through the draft they've added a beast of a defensive tackle, a good tight end, and a top-pick quarterback (although he can't stay healthy). They're getting some pieces together.
December 20, 201014 yr Yeah, Herve, don't pick the Eagles or Ravens. They could be winning a title in the near future. Some sooner than others The Bucs are a good choice. Youngest team in the league and they're already pretty good. Lions too. They just beat the Bucs in overtime this week.

I'm sure it'll be a hard road for the Ravens to repeat as world champs. Bucs are a sham. They can't beat winning teams.
December 20, 201014 yr I knew you were gonna say that Yeah but they play them close, I mean they weren't supposed to win more than 4 games this season.
December 23, 201014 yr That streak is amazing though. One of the best records ever. Fav-rah is not gonna retire or stay retired. Some team will lose their starting QB for the season and give him a call to come in and save them. Fav-rah will be playing in some capacity till at least his late 40s and I'm not trying to be funny when I say this. Kucf Favre, let's give it up for DEVIN HESTER!!! The guy set a NFL Record and tied another one. He ran back and scored 2 touchdowns in that Minnesota game, setting the record for the most touchdowns off returns combined, and tied another record for most punt return touchdowns. :hell yea!: Unfortunately, the fact that Favre got knocked out of the game, coupled with the fact that it is probably his last NFL game overshadowed that. <_< I get it in a way, but still . . .
December 24, 201014 yr So give me an NFL team to support. They can't be favorites to win the title in the near future, since I don't want to be some douchebag bandwagon jumper. But they can't be cursed no-hopers either. So don't dare suggest the Detroit Lions. My teams are: Colts, Ravens (I know it's contradictory... kiss my ass), and my local Fins even though they are like an awful boyfriend I keep coming home to. <_<
December 25, 201014 yr So give me an NFL team to support. They can't be favorites to win the title in the near future, since I don't want to be some douchebag bandwagon jumper. But they can't be cursed no-hopers either. So don't dare suggest the Detroit Lions. Pats might be the golden standard as they're the most competitive team year in and year out. But to be honest, for someone just coming into it i might have to say the Kansas City Chiefs, they got a young team and should be good for awhile. I'll stick with my rams.

I would give a team with a bright future a shot like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams or Kansas City Chiefs. Choose wisely and enjoy the NFL!!!
January 4, 201114 yr Oakland went undefeated (6-0) in their division and didn't make the playoffs I don't get that. But i don't get how my rams lost to the shithawks
January 5, 201114 yr Home field advantage. Won't work against the Saints though.it's funny, the team with#1 Offense and Defense didn't make the playoffs, the Chargers. and the Wildcard road teams look like the favorites. what a crazy year.
January 5, 201114 yr The chargers special teams sucked. That lost them alot. And ya the road teams? wtf at that.. but then again Falcons won't lose twice to the Saints.
January 5, 201114 yr ^ You can just as easily say the Saints won't lose twice to the Falcons. And a team winning their division at 7-9 is pathetic. <_<
January 5, 201114 yr Yea, they're never going to change the rules though. division leaders will always go to the playoffs.
January 6, 201114 yr ^ Division leaders should go to the playoffs. It's just ridiculous that a division can be so bad that you can win with a losing record. I wouldn't be surprised if they change the seeding rules to seed division winners lower (no home game) if a wild card team has a better record.
January 6, 201114 yr The Ravens are the one AFC team to stop the Patriots from reaching the Super Bowl. The Packers will face the Falcons in the NFC Championship with the Falcons reaching the Super Bowl.
January 9, 201114 yr Wow, Seahawks made a lot of firsts . First to make the playoffs with a losing record, first to win a playoff game with a losing record and most points scored against a reigning Super Bowl champion in the playoffs or something, but either way, wth :| ?
