For every question, type the song that's playing 5. When you go to a new question, press the next button 6. DON'T REPEAT ARTISTS 7. No cheating and doctoring your list to make yourself look cooler than the person you took this from, you selfish bastard/ bastardette. Opening Credits: Dont Speak - No Doubt First Day At School: By My Side - Three Doors Down Falling In Love: Just the Girl I'm Looking For - The Click Five Breaking Up: Fergalicious - Fergie Prom: Hands Clean - Alanis Morisette Sex s…

So, i'm looking for this tune, it's from old (2002 or so) FTV reality show 'ModelFlat'. I managed to find this one, but there was another, like, alternate version of this song. It's nice lounge melody with male vocals and words like 'Laying on the floor, how do you feel?<...> Let me be your mirror' and then refrain 'Mirror, mirror on the wall....' and so on. Sorry for such blurry explanation but i don't know its title, and i really need to find it. Hope you guys will help me.

A study of more than 36,000 people from around the world concluded that musical tastes and personality type were closely related. The research, which was carried out by Professor Adrian North of Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh in the UK suggested classical music fans were shy, while heavy metal fans were gentle and at ease with themselves. Fans of Indie music had low self-esteem and were not hard working, fans of Rap music had high self-esteem and were outgoing. Country & Western fans were hardworking and outgoing, Reggae fans were creative but not hardworking, and fans of chart pop had high self-esteem, were not creative, but where hardworking and outgoing. Which…

The all-female hard rock/heavy metal band Drain S.T.H. was formed in 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden (hence the S.T.H., added to avoid confusion with a similarly named American band), and featured singer Maria Sjöholm, guitarist Flavia Canel, bassist Anna Kjellberg, and drummer/vocalist Martina Axén. Displaying an unabashed worship of Alice in Chains, their independent 1996 debut, Horror Wrestling, was dominated by uncompromising grinds of slow, down-tuned guitars, which were then topped with Sjöholm and Axén's beautifully chilling vocal harmonies. Coupled with the band's impressive live performances and supermodel looks, this soon drew the attention of Mercury Records subsidia…

So the idea is to post those you think are the best with the instrument. Those masters of the 6 strings that leave you at awe when listening what they are capable to do with a guitar. Those with beyond human technical abilities, incredible speed, or simply exquisite taste and clean sound. Since Rock is one of the genres where guitar is the more prominent, it may be that most posts here will be related to Rock music, but hopefully we'll see great guitarists from every other genre too. From Blues, to Jazz, Flamenco, Classical and more. I'll start with probably my favorite guitarist ever, and such a huge influence on many generations to come that star…

http://www.myspace.com/geminipl The band was formed after the summer of 2009 by the master Felipe. The idea behind it was to gather a group of creative musicians from different bands that could constitute an ensemble playing music that is sophisticated, ambitious and yet accessible. Musically, gemiNi draws from many genres, mainly alternative and progressive rock, pop-rock and trip-hop. The songs were recorded at a recent rehearsal. Enjoy. And comment.

http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=15246 A woman who allegedly shot her husband of two months while dancing to Shania Twain music told a court yesterday that the gun has “just gone off.” Linda West explained to the Winchester court that she was trying to arouse her husband by dancing to the Canadian’s song ‘Man I Feel Like A Woman’ when she accidentally shot him in the chest. According to Metro newspaper, she said: “I’m holding the barrels of the gun and I’m dancing holding the gun. “I was entertaining my husband. Towards the end of the record, when the record finished, I ended up putting the gun down on the floor to the side of me. “It just went off. It just we…

Not sure if it belongs here but I fucking love this style! Drum and bass (also written as "drum 'n' bass" and commonly abbreviated to D&B or DnB, also known as Jungle) is a type of electronic dance music which emerged in the mid 1990s. The genre is characterized by fast breakbeats (typically between 160–190 bpm, occasional variation is noted in older compositions), with heavy bass and sub-bass lines. Drum and bass began as an offshoot of the United Kingdom rave scene of the very early 1990s. Over the first decade of its existence, the incorporation of elements from various musical genres led to many permutations in its overall style. Some youtube clips: Feel …

So... What do you think about Grunge? Which bands you like? For my part, I never considered it that much as a musical genre, but rather a movement. Bands with a similar background, from more or less the same area, and around the same time (Stone Temple Pilots being the exception to almost all of this). My favorite band here would be Alice in Chains, followed by Soundgarden maybe. About the poll: I only included the most know bands, though there's a lot more amazing bands from the Seattle area around the late 80s-early 90s. Such as Screaming Trees, Green River, Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone, etc... And of course, some music: Alice in Chains - Them Bones

When it comes to albums that are generally regarded as classics, I always just sort of assume that they'll somehow find me eventually, perhaps via an online article, a review, maybe a chance discovery. Sometimes it's a case of wondering what all the fuss is about, but every so often something will come along that blows me away. So, how about it? What classic albums have you only got round to hearing recently?

Paris Hilton’s Album Cover slightly altered So apparently Banksy, an urban artist from England replaced some 500 copies of Paris album with his own version. Check out the result on that link. Yes, I was amused.
