Oh she looks sensational in that pantsuit at the CFDA Awards!!! Hair and makeup on point, too! LOVE it!

Ok setting aside any comments or criticisms of the models themselves (I think y'all did a fine job of it already haha), WHAT THE HELL IS THIS AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY?! It's reeeaaallly time to shake it up. I think part of why SI is suffering is because of Instagram. Like, it used to be a big deal and kind of a special event to see legit supermodels in sexy swimsuits for the SI issue. But now every trick with a bikini has endless selfies on Insta all the time. And a lot of the times with photography that's actually superior to the shots I'm seeing here for this issue. So why would anyone pay money for it? If it felt like a *premium* exclusive product, than that would be one thing. But they'd have to be getting models who actually have a value currency and exclusivity associated with them. Barbara and Lais are good examples, but there are soooo many more that are sexy and would help elevate this magazine (Joan, Candice, Doutzen, Karlie, Gigi, Bella, Imaan, Cindy Bruna, etc etc etc).

I'm not sure who the photographer was for that, but man I loved her MANGO ads. She did that campaign for a few consecutive seasons, as I recall. Really missed seeing KK at the MET Gala this year. She would've turned out something amazing for the theme, no doubt!

OMG!!! Thank you so much for posting the entire editorial. Wow. This is the most compelling fashion work KK has done in years. I LIVE for these kind of transformational editorials and she truly excels at them! This is why she's a super. We all know she can do high glamour and sexy, but to turn out an editorial like this is really special.

LOL!! You'd think at this point in her life as a public person she'd be aware of paparazzi and would maybe try and put on a smile or something, other than that "Oh I just smelled something terrible" expression on her face. hahaa. She looks fantastic though!

That's such a fun editorial! And thanks for posting the old runway pics. I feel bad for not being more active in this thread (I mean, KK is my fav of all time). But she just hasn't been working all that much over the past year. Here's hoping for some more fashion work in the coming months!

Guys ... WHERE IS KK?! Like ... I know she's prioritizing her family, and that's definitely cool. But ... she's an Icon. And her legacy is suffering. It's not enough for her to just be an IWC brand ambassador or to do some random editorials here and there. Landing a S'Oliver campaign each season does not a supermodel make. And Karolina IS a legit supermodel. Obviously she won't be scoring several major campaigns every season, because of course they go to the new hot models of the moment. But she SHOULD be scoring blue chip work more often.

That golden Balmain is a DREAM on her. Thanks for posting those pics!! It's a shame about her hair though. I feel like she's had a rough few years now trying to figure out what to do with her hair. Maybe it's time to go to a kind of sleek bob style? Like - what if she styled her hair like this:

Cool editorial. But like ... KK has the best legs in the industry. She's actually PERFECT for those Versace pants. But why isn't she photographed standing up and showing them off properly?
