Wearing all white + plus fur to the middle of cat litter box is not slaying it, it's stupidity on the highest level. Same with wearing FEATHERS  and chain-mail.

The original Burning Man - a world a part from this model/celeb/SJW's filled placed I loved  So much debauchery and drugs back in the day.  It was dirty, stinky, hot and miserable, and half the people didn't come out till dark... it was amazing!

Been to both old and new and yes they are worlds apart. The new one is nothing more then a bunch of uptight SJW's and celebs who want to be pandered to and basically told how pretty and edgy they are. Forget about there ever being a Thunderdome again because the minute someone got hurt they would threaten to call their lawyer. Now it's all about pretty glamor and glitz with a bit of edgelord. The grittiness is nothing more then sand now, forget about the people.

Excuse my ignorance but what is Burning Man to begin with? :ninja:

I mean, what it was supposed to be on it's origin?

It started in San Fran in 86 and was originally a bunch of loadies, Pagans, Satanist, Goths, Hippies from the 60's and Wiccans who wanted to celebrate the Summer solstice. There was drugs, nudity (real nudity, not this I'm wearing lingerie look at me be nakid shit the models and hipsters do... like 55 year old man who looks like Santa Clause and was quite possibly a pedophile walking around picking up girls while wearing nothing), rituals, drugs, music ect.  In 90 a friend of the original founder decided to take the event to Nevada (near Reno). I first went in 90 when a bouncer friend of mine who worked at a goth club asked me verbatim "We're going to the desert and bringing peyote, wanna go?" Of course I jumped at the chance. I was a young teen and there was free drugs and the most interesting people there.  It hadn't gone commercial, it was really dirty and gritty... nothing like what it is today  ...

The first year I went I got to hang out with members of Catherine Wheel, Remy Zero and the manager and one of the members from Jane's Addiction (btw the manager of Jane's had the best acid ever!) No one cared enough to take Polaroids or hang onto the famous people there... now everyone has selfie fever and are losing out on the last vestiges of something that was once great.

Thank you!

So it lost its meaning even more than Coachella did...

:56608ab60b1b8_hellyea!: Wish we had a take a bow kind of smiley.

Seem so like this thread has really died down. We need some news! Also I know everyone hates Martha Hunt but I actually think she's gorgeous and has a nice walk. She is crazy thin though!

I'd imagine the hype will die down for awhile until the first Makings video comes out, then we'll have something to talk about. VS really played their cards well this time. They started a bit of hype by releasing the teaser for the Makings video, then got talks about model castings going. Then went completely silent after that, people are dying to know what's going on and the IG fan accounts are probably going to be hyped until show time. That will keep the talk about VS in people's mind for awhile.

Told yall, expect to see nothing from VS until Fashion week is done. If anything they may do an event to launch the LOVE fragrance, but as far as the show goes, I doubt we'll be seeing anything new until next month

Elsa gave an interview today during her BikBok press day, and mentioned VS having a press day tomorrow. (I think that's what this interview says. It's not in English, and the translation might be a little off.)

Does anyone think this might mean something :ninja: ? I sure hope she's not an angel.

Edit: Or it's probably HF stuffs.
