Didn't Cannes host its fair share of models on the red carpet in the past? Or were all of those fulfilling some contractual obligation for some company or the other? I ask because I don't know.

Models under contract with L'Oreal or any other brands partners with the festival ^^

And u have to have an invitation to step on the red carpet.

Thanks, I don't really follow the festival that closely, other than checking out who won each year.
