Hello everyone How are you all ? I want to know something about codecs. For example I'm using real player and this is because to watch online videso,online songs or play rm,ram file formats. Is this possible to play this without real player ? Any alternative way ?

My computer cannot play a sound file smoothly. It skips and jerks, everytime it plays music files. It wasn't the speakers, as I already tried various speakers. It wasn't the CD-player, as I already burn all the songs into MP3 and saved it on the hard drive. So, what's the problem?

Recently, I updated my firewall (Zone Alarm) and suddenly my internet settings are weird. I use Ff, but there are some sites that don't keep cookies anymore, while others still do. Also, on BZ, the motion avis and sigs don't move anymore, neither do the emoticons it's really weird and I checked the Ff settings and they appear to be ok, though I'm not 100% sure they are... *looks at MattloveModel's still avi* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!!!!!!!! The topic title is pretty self explanatory. I've been using IIIUploader for a while to save myself time and effort when uploading and posting upwards of >200 images of a model to BZ at once. The program allows me to upload bulk amounts of images to an image hoster without having to go directly through the image host site. It's a pretty efficient and helpful program, however, recently I switched from a PC to a Mac and the developers of IIIU only make it in .exe format which won't execute on a Mac OS. Does anybody know of a similar alternative program that operates on a Mac OS? Or does anyone know of an easy method to execute .exe programs on a Mac? TIA everyone!

For any of us who use Imgur it was found out last night there was suspicous code and malware on the site. While it seems it is being used to DDoS only a specific targer the fact that there is malicous JavaScript makes using the site at this time unsafe. I would advise against using Imgur for now until they fix it, and they did tweet they are aware of the problem around 12 hours ago so hopefully it will be fixed soon but until then stay away from Imugr.There are several other image hosting sites available like Imagebam and Imgbox to use until it is fixed. I have always thought that Real Player is the best media player that you can download for free. After reading most of the negative comments on download.com, I was really really surprised. Most of them says that Real Player is filled with ads, and spywares and adwares. Plus, a few of them say that Real Player won't run on their comp, causing their comp to hang. One even mentioned that Real Player is very hard to use. I have always find Real Player very easy to use, the ads in them are more or less equally annoying as the ones found in Windows Media Player. Guys, i'm planning to scan some pictures taking from Dutch magazines and post them here and in other groups! I have a problem with my computer, this thing keeps on popping up all the time and when I click Don't send it automatically closes all my internet explorers and if I click send or don't click anything after it still does and It's pissing me off I can't do anything!! I don't how this happens. But, of late, my cursor has been "out of control". Sometimes, when I refreshed a page, or click on any link, the cursor just stray... (Optical mouse wireless on a smooth optical mouse pad.) The cursor had never "misbehaved" before. On a previous computer (now dumped) of mine, sometimes, I just have to have the cursor hovering above the link and it will automatically clicked on it! (Mouse is rollerball, wired) What causes this? Faulty mouse or spyware/trojan?

Yours truly's laptop came into grips with a most deadly virus last Sunday. Despite extensive efforts to save the poor thing, and paying well over the odds, this week has resulted in lots and lots of frustration and misfortune. Turns out, the whole hard drive has been wiped. Who here is knowledgeable about recording video clips to DVD? I'm trying to use Sonic MyDVD to write various video files (.avi, .mpg, .wmv, .asf, etc.) as a DVD and I'm running into a problem. When I try to add certain video clips, I get an error message saying that they're in PAL format, and it won't add them unless all the clips are in PAL. Apparently, some of my video clips are NTSC and some are PAL format (but all are readable on my computer). I always thought a .wmv file was a .wmv file, but that seems not to be the case. Is there software out there that will reformat a PAL-formatted file to NTSC? How do I get around this?
