LikeAFineWine suggested we should have a thread for Fashion Magazines and here it is So feel free to post everything related to fashion magazines like editorials, covers etc. To make it easier to navigate please make sure you put in the title and issue/ date of the magazine where the cover or editorial/pictures are from. If you have any additional information like photographer, model names, stylist etc it would be nice for you to include those in your post as well

I'm trying to find the best fashion magazine. I have a subscription to Australian Vogue and Russh. I have to say one of the best I've read recently has been Oyster Magazine. It had a fantastic interview with Karl Lagerfeld. What's yours?

Kelly Futerer was born and raised in California in the swinging 60’s, from an early age she was made to appreciate the benefits of combining fun, sexiness and intelligence. Which led to a very successful career as an international model and subsequently to her career as a painter where she goes by the name Kelly X. Through the tutorage of William Ward Beecher, Sumi-E and Suhaku Flag, she has developed her own style combining her professional understanding of natural pose and attitude that captures the spirit of a woman on canvas.

Like movie quotes, but for books. Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk All god does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring. Sometimes your best way to deal with shit is to not hold yourself as such a precious little prize. Your birth is a mistake you'll spend your whole life trying to correct. The only way to find true happiness is to risk being completely cut open. I'm tired of this world of appearances. Pigs that only look fat. Families that look happy. No matter how much you think you love somebody, you'll step back when the pool of their blood edges too close. What it boils down to is professional modeling means getting paid to over…

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but here's this thread and if it's allowed on well great if not well I'm sorry. I went to the hairdresser that's near my house. It's this lady and she does it in her garage. Sickest thing ever. Has a great vibe, that place. And of course hse has fashion magszines there! And that's why I went, because my sister was getting a haircut, and not I. So, what's something that really interested you form this magazine? (ect.) Another reaosn why I created this thread was because I had a question, I think it's last month's or this month's issue, (are they monthly, I'm not even sure actually) and they had these photographs of eyemakeup, which fill…

Freedom of the Seas and her two sister ships will keep the title of the largest passenger ships ever built until construction of the Oasis Class ships in 2009. The Freedom of the Seas was built at the Aker Yards drydock in Turku, Finland which also is building the other ships of the Freedom Class. Upon its completion it became the largest passenger ship ever built, taking that honor from Cunard's Queen Mary 2.

Was shocked to see neither of them had a mention, two of the most incredible writers in modern history. Hunter S Thompson is god In my eyes, and Irvine Welsh is the master of Modern Novels. Any fans?

I've been a fan of Dennis Lehane since I first saw Shutter Island in theaters. My ultimate favorite novel of his would have to be a tie between Shutter Island and Mystic River. When did you first become a fan of his? And which of his novels do you like the most?

I did a search and couldn't find a previous topic on this, so I thought I'd start one by saying I've always wanted to see a Broadway play and finally got the opportunity Saturday night. I saw "Wicked" at the Gershwin Theatre and it was great! The story was creative and funny, the lead actresses were phenomenal, there were tons of gorgeous 18-25ish women, and Oprah was in the audience.

Matt Dixon (b.1972) Matt Dixon was born in Birmingham, UK, in 1972 and he has been an enthusiastic waver of pens and pencils for as long as he can remember. All his work is now created digitally, a process which he finds significantly faster and more efficient than traditional methods. "Digital art first captured my imagination when I began to assemble images from ASCII characters on a Commodore VIC-20 way back in 1980 - happily, things have moved along a little and Adobe Photoshop allows me to achieve slightly more sophisticated results than I got back then. "I think that's part of the draw I have to fantasy and sci-fi subjects. Often the girls portrayed in genre a…

General photography that you like. He's usually reknowned for landscape work and his use of large format cameras, but he is incredible at portraits, too (in this case, with a 35mm). This is probably one of the most saddening and touching pictures I've seen.

Hello friends! Here is my 1st tribute to one of our members, Vanja. Although I sent you a request directly asking permission to use one of your images as a reference I could not wait for a reply. I was too excited by the concept. And started painting. In any case this piece is a direct tribute to Rembrandt and the phenomenal beauty that is Vanja. You are immortalized here as I believe Rembrandt would have seen you through his eyes. This draws directly from Portrait of Saskia 1633 and a ton of pictures I found online of you. I had no idea you were so published! That made painting you much easier than I had thought as I had many many good angles of your beautiful…
