Wow so I finally got to see Delta Goodrem live! She almost made me cry!... well.. pretty much did. She came to LA and I got to see her Hollywood! I ever met her and I got a picture with her! She is so awesome. I cant believe how good her voice is... its actually natural talent, she played the piano and sang.. and even danced with some little kid in the crowd, I haven't seen a show like that in a long time! Her album comes out here in the US on June 24th and you can listen to her on her mypsace at myspace/deltagoodrem. Have a greattttttttt weekend!! Joy Ms UMGD

I eliminated songs from the 1950s and prior because those are the songs that laid the foundation of rock music, so I didn't want to run the risk of them not getting the votes that their impact would warrant. 2. Yes, aural... as in ear f***ing. Also, I'm gonna have to be an elitist in this thread because well... It would be an insult to some of the singers posted in this thread to compare them to the likes of let's say Beyonce, Ashlee Simpson, or Jojo. No rockers, poppers, hip-hoppers, and such allowed unless they are crossover artists. This thread is for guitar solos . Though technical performing skills (singing, instrument playing) in general don't seem to be as important to today's mainstream music industry ..., I love the way a good guitar solo pours out the heart, soul and guts of a song. As I stated before, I love all of the obvious classic solos and anything by Django Reinhardt, Joe Pass and Jimi Hendrix. I love guitar solos from all genres, whether it is classical, blues, jazz, country, acoustic, rock, flamenco,"latin"...I encourage you to share your favorites, there are no right or wrong answers.
