Adri - she always gets one

Candice - it's her comeback VS year so no way VS isn't gonna give her an opening

Sara - she has never opened a segment before and is one of the "biggest" new angels and she has been walking a lot of fashion shows

 Jasmine - got the FB last year and shoots a lot for VS during the whole year and never got to open one before neither

 

I think those are safe bets for the main line which leaves 1 spot open  probably for Taylor and Jo since they're one of the populars aswell.  

 

Grace for Pink ofcourse, no doubt.

OMG that S shaped runway was horrendous

 

La Perla had their fashion show yesterday and their super mega famous, exclusive, non-compete clause model and spokesperson Kendull didn't even walk, so Imma call it bullshit on the whole excuse she gave for not walking VS. She's just cancelled  . The show was also held in China and it seems like everyone got their permits on time, Natasha Poly, Pauline H, Lui Wen walked.

 

If LP was able to pull this off in China, I assume VS won't be facing any trouble either

My best bet

 

- Nomadic Adventure: Taylor opening, Alessandra closing

- Goddesses: Candice/Adriana, Lais closing

- A winter's tale: Jasmine/Sara, Martha closing - Romee potentially wearing the SO in this segment

- Porcelain Angels: Sara/Jasmine, Stella closing

- Punk Angels: Adriana/Candice, Josephine closing

- Millenial ?: Grace opening, Zuri closing

 

If VS needed any more reasons to give Sara a big part this year, she's everywhere now thanks to the whole Lui debacle and we all know VS loves to ride on free publicity. I think it's a NA opening the show for sure and since I think Elsa has the FB I don't think she'll also open the show. Taylor doesn't have a great walk but she is for sure the most famous one so I think she could get the opening. Goddesses is the kind of segment Adriana always opens but knowing Olivier I'm sure he'll want THE Angel opening his segment, which is why I think Adriana is opening Punk. Candice is for sure opening something and Goddesses seems like a good segment for her to open. Porcelain and Winter could go either way.

 

I do think this year Lily is the one who won't get anything special but we'll see

I don't think the old angels will open the show again tbh, to me, the fact that last year the NA walked away with all the big things was a clear sign that they are ready to move on. And is not like Candice has been doing much for VS ever since she came back tbh, it's still the NA everywhere.

yeah, out of the old angels, its Adriana and Alessandra who has been promoting and doing stuff for the show. They are the ones thats been in and out of China all year, candice hasn't. I can see her opening because she is coming back. But it would still kinda be surprising because they haven't even sent her to China/asia yet. They could have, seeing as when they were going Candice was officially back with VS but that tried to double book Adriana for events in Asia instead. Even some NA have went over there. She hasn't had a train like an angel session neither, which is more promo for the show.

 

All three has had just as much VS campaign work as each other. Lingerie, Candice and Ale for the perfume, Adriana and Candice having VSX material this year

 

 

Is not even about the promo tho, it's her work for VS overall. She hasn't done much, the NA keep shooting left and right and Candice has done like three shoots, absolutely no press and one online commercial. It makes perfect sense tho, much like Adriana and Alessandra, she's been doing this for a decade and earned the right to work less and make more money, I always knew Candice wouldn't be back shooting as much as she used to, VS is slowly moving on from the oldies and the oldies are slowly moving on from VS, not even Lily is doing much work for them nowdays. They've done it all so I don't think the girls are crying over not getting another sparky bra, and as much of an honor as it is opening the show, it's also a lot more pressure on the woman who has to do it, I recall Gisele said once she much rather close than open because of that so I really don't think Candice, Adriana or any of them are exactly dying to do it.

 

I fully expect the big three things to rotate within the NA for the next couple of years until they find two or three girls who will stay for a long run.

I'd think that if someone is going to open they'd atleast talk about the show, to the media, once by now, in the way that others have. Especially since fittings has already happened. If it makes sense that she doesn't shoot alot because she is an older and well known angel, it would also make sense that she'd be doing more promo atleast. Lol we already talked about how they will work an older angel like a dog when the fashion show is about to come around  because they are well known

 

Its only been a decade. A decade in with Adriana and Alessandra, they were still being used alot. Adriana never got time to lose all her baby weight before she was back to shooting and doing promo for stuff in 2010 nor 2012. So, I am surprised on the slow up with candice. But I think thats because they have the NA's, she didn't have to rush back or be used full time like Adriana and Alessandra

 

I still think if someone's going to be opening, and they were told that during fittings (which they usually are), they'd be used a little bit more one way or another. Not as much in terms of work but press. But Adriana did say they are full of surprises this year, so Candice can not be spammed and still unexpectedly open

Sara just put a story on her instagram saying "one month countdown" with a pic from last year's show. Safe to say they're taping November 20th?

Taylor and Jasmine are locks IMO. The next one is up for grabs.

Elsa is 29, I don't see them focusing that much on her in the future, that's why I think she might be getting all of this stuff so soon.That's also why I think they're using Martha much more lately, because they might just try to get whatever they can from her. I see Sara getting a few more years, but she's the angel I most see wanting to move on from the brand. Romee will likely stay as like Lindsay..There but not relevant. Stella and Lais I have no clue. I dont see Jo being a long-stayer either.
