I'm Asian and I find that article about cultural appropriation annoying. Seriously though, that's what you get from the modern generation. People cry at everything. 

 

Jasmine is starting to grow on me, been rewatching that BNA walk several times and she looks better every time I repeat it. This year she's full of energy and I think that's what makes her stand oud so much.

I like Bella too! I think she might've been nervous because it's her first time walking, but she seemed a little better by the second taping. A little more relaxed, but RBF still on full display lol

There's no way they're cutting Elsa's opening from the show guys. Every year the press complains about something. This time is the dragon lol

VS Fashion Show is getting worse and worse and worse but I don't care I LOVE IT!!! Big beautiful mess!

 

Messy year this year, minimal good outfits. The opening outfit this year was shocking. They didn't have to make the dragon look so tacky.

 

Devons pink skeleton outfit DID NOT match those huge bowl wings. Absolutely awful.

Daniela Bragas outfit was also appalling. 

 

Megan Williams really underwhelmed. Was expecting her to shine.

Sui needs to go. She bores me to death. I only ever liked her in 2011.

 

My god Stella is thin...

 

It's amazing what some slap can do. Josephine looked dreadful and 100 years old backstage. As soon as she had some make up applied she looked stunning. 

 

Taylor killed it this year. I honestly don't think there's a prettier face in the universe. Always beautiful. 

 

Grace is so perfect! Love her so much.

Georgia looked stunning!

 

I hate Gaga's new album so much except John Wayne. I love love LOVE the song John Wayne and so happy Gaga performed it at the show. It really fits in. Same with Kesha's Animal. Majestic and pretty. Can't say much for the rest of the songs though...... million reasons was a snooze fest. Starboy is average and I'm not really big on Bruno. ?

agreed! I really hope Monica and Ed will go one day.. it seems VS is struggling with creativity.. VS need fresh ideas. 

Taylor and Sara has major potential in VS and both of them killed it at the show. Martha and Stella are just boring, without their famous liaisons, they won't be a hsehold name

That Lady Gaga lip sync is so much better than the Bruno Mars one. Everyone seems to be having a good time, even grumpy Stella is all smiles and hugs. I'm a fan of Taylor Swift (her music, her public persona not so much) but when the Angels were gushing about her it came off as mostly fake enthusiasm. Maybe it's fake again but they did a better job pretending.

I was amazed at how they utilized such little space of the venue - The stairs should've been incorporated even if they were only in the background. I will always watch this show but they really need some new people working on the production.

I like Sophia but whoa - some outfits were worse than ever (well, Jac's 2013(?) ' OMG' outfit was pretty terrible too). Many of the outfits look fantastic in the sketch but they really don't come to life like they used to IMO 

 

And some of the color pairings? Are they blind? 

I disagree on the performers, I think they were well chosen, altough I would have loved a Riri-Drake situation + 5H for Pink.

 

These performers are nothing to snooze at. Lady Gaga, you might not like her, but she sells, has the #1 album altough none of her songs are huge hits. John Wayne fits way better than A Million Reasons, as the beginning of the MR segment came out hella awkward and led to an awful opening by Jo. 

Starboy is the #1 song right now, The Weeknd and his songs are loved by millions (including me), he adds good press for the VSFS, Starboy fitted like a glove in Secret Angel, there are 6 songs of his album on Spotify's top50, an app used a lot by 18-49 people, an important target for VS as they are its biggest buyers, and viewers of the VSFS.

Bruno Mars has the upbeat sound that PINK and BNA desperately needed and also his songs fit in, 24k Magic has been hovering around the top5 on Billboard for some time now.

 

These are artist with big fanbases (especially Gaga), with hot-selling albums(all three) and a lot of hit songs (Bruno, but especially The Weeknd).

I meant that the segment (Mountain Romance) was a snooze fest. I prefer segments with a good beat like Dark Angel.

 

I don't like 'Million Reasons' but I'm sure it'll grow on me now that I've seen the lip sync video. Gaga is so sweet! 

 

I'm in awe of how Lais looked at yesterday's event. Damn girl!

I have been looking for like an hour to try and find the page that had ALL the looks in order cause I swear I saw it on this thread, I know I did. I don't remember who posted them all, but whoever it is I want to give a big ol' thank you.  But i'll save that for when I find all the pictures and figure out who posted them.

 

Does anyone know what page they were on? I was gonna look through each outfit and do a small recap. Even if no one cares to read what I think about the looks, I still wanna do it for myself to keep my thoughts organized.

 

I'm still looking through all the pages, but if anyone knows how to help direct me I'd appreciate it! It was seriously every segment with a picture of every look, it was incredible how organized the post was!!!!

I'll find it one way or the other, but I must concede I need some help lol
