SI Petra Kate didnt stay in the game long enough Petra did 5 years and had one cover. Kate did 4 years and had 3 covers. I think Kate's SI record is much better. Yea but we all know what shape Kate was in by 2013. Its remarkable how SI were willing to use her until last year Really? Remarkable that SI would want the most popular model in the country? Maybe even more popular than the magazine itself. And I would definitely take Kate's last 2 years over her first 2. Nemcova earned her cover during a more competitive era. Upton barely had any challengers. But Kate is much more popular than Petra ever was anyways. And lack of competition doesn't explain that.
