February 6, 201510 yr So, guys... do you know the full list of models in this year for SI swinsuit issue? I'am curious.
February 6, 201510 yr She used to be. She's lost weight recently. Robyn modeling for Swimsuits for All. (The same brand that Ashley's ad is for.)
February 6, 201510 yr She doesn't even call herself that. But when websites post headlines like that, they get clicks. So...
February 6, 201510 yr is Robyn even a real plus size model? i dont think so.... or yes?I saw something where it said she's a US Size 12. Plus Size's typically begin at size 12 so she counts by industry standards. You have to factor in that she's 1.88m tall (6ft2) so she's got a different build to that of the average plus size women, so she appears more proportionate.
February 6, 201510 yr ^ Seven, the last one is Hailey Clauson. And holy fuck is Robyn really 1.88cm? She's a giant o.O
February 6, 201510 yr Glad they saved Hailey for last, let's see what the promo shot looks like though......
February 6, 201510 yr Robyn was a plus-sized model when she was cast, but she obviously lost a lot of weight before the actual shoot.
February 6, 201510 yr I have to say I like her two pics, and her body looks great! I´m eager to see more of Robyn
February 6, 201510 yr Part of the job of being a model is know what looks best on you. Hannah is not a HF girl and as such she doesn't need a myriad of different poses and expression in her reputare. Hannah should of been able to objectively say "Hey if I'm wearing <blank> and I pose like this... It can come across as looking <blank>", that's part of being a good model. Hannah made a bad call on that pose in particular, and SI made a bad call using that shot. There's absolutely no reason to defend either parties. Both were clearly in the wrong according to the people who've spoken. AMEN
February 6, 201510 yr If I had to describe this cover in three words, it would be: tacky, forgettable, lifeless. I like Hannah, but at the end of the day, no one is gonna remember this cover. She's just another lifeless white blonde with a famous BF, and the over-photoshopping is not helping. She doesn't ooze sex appeal and charisma the way Kate Upton does. Even the trio cover last year had charisma; it was fun, carefree, sexy, and different. I don't blame Hannah for the photo, but to me it comes across as super thirsty on SI's part. It feels like they know that Hannah isn't good enough (in terms of recognition and fame) so they just picked the most revealing shot to draw people in. It's actually a little offensive to her. The focus should be on the MODEL, not on how much skin she is showing. When I look at covers of Kate, I notice her whole persona first. Same with Marisa and Bar. Yes they show tons of skin, but there is an element of power and control in the cover and the model. In Hannah's case it's just pussy and boobs. That's why it feels tacky. Honestly, this whole issue feels a bit like a 'throwaway' issue compared to the insanely good rookie class we had last year and the cool, different, booty-centric trio cover with Nina, Chrissy, and Lily, and well as Kate the Great. That was memorable. I wish Emrata got the cover because I think it would have come out more exotic looking; I like that she has a different face from the typical SI girl and is brunette. I also think she's a better model. She manages to look super sexy while still in control and powerful. Gigi, while in the typically white blonde SI mold, manages to look different because she is good at posing and giving face. Honestly wish it was either of them. A Nina solo cover would have been great too. I agree with all of this. Especially the bold parts are really good points. SI picked a scandalous shot (oh noes!) because the cover is all about publicity and attention and unfortunately Hannah can't get enough of that without something like this. Part of the job of being a model is know what looks best on you. Hannah is not a HF girl and as such she doesn't need a myriad of different poses and expression in her reputare. Hannah should of been able to objectively say "Hey if I'm wearing <blank> and I pose like this... It can come across as looking <blank>", that's part of being a good model. Both were clearly in the wrong according to the people who've spoken. Those people aren't going to buy the magazine anyways. The majority of the people who buy the magazine buy it for all the pictures inside. I agree with the person who said it was more in MJ's and the photog's hands. And Hannah didn't necessarily know that the picture was for the cover. It's a pretty standard SI shot imo.
