I wish they would do an announcement. Still here being impatient.

According to a Portuguese paper that interviewed Ed, he mentioned Sara joining the other 5 current Angels and the announcement should come at the end of Spring.

Interesting. I'm a little surprised since Sara wasn't in the swim special but I like her so I hope it's true. I wonder if they'll announce only her or other girls as well.

If Joan wasn't casted in the Swim Special, I'm sure Sara or Romee would've gotten it.

Can´t speak for others, but for me, Romee lacks that "wow" factor, that raw sexappeal, a spark. She´s still a beautiful girl and I like her runway presence. Who knows what future brings She might surprise us any minute

Do they still make those official announcements? They'd be smart to do it with the new girls all at once, it'd get them some press.

Victoria's Secret themself doesn't really announce them anymore, it's more like the media says they're in and then they just sort of merge into being an Angel (or at least that's the way I saw it). Karlie was announced when she did the Swim event because it listed her as "Meet the VS Angels" and the media went wild. I don't remember VS themselves posting something such as "Welcome our new Angel!", or maybe if they did I didn't really pay attention to it.

 

I think they're intending to announce a bunch of girls all at once though, that's maybe why they've kept somewhat hush over the past few months with all the Angel changes. 

That's what I figured, that VS themselves didn't announce it. If they really have contracted a bunch of new girls, which I think they have too, I could see them sending them all to do an event where they list them as angels in the press release or whatever.

I find Romee to be completely indifferent in modeling but she has a face of child married to great height.  (a bit like Gemma Ward in this respect, but without the modeling)  She is also very flat like Stella and looks off when modeling lingerie.

 

The best of the newer models is Monika Jac- I could see her become an angel down the line.

TBH Jac was a very accomplished runway model even before she started with VS. She's different in that sense, but yes VS are very lucky to have her and  should keep her as long as possible.

Romee is pretty. I don't get why so many of you seem to dislike her. Same with Stella.

Differing tastes but there are some more objective criteria...with Romee she's pretty but she can't model- there is little character in it & without her big break I can see her blending in with other hopefuls.  Stella can model and I like Stella's facial expressions.  Gigi Hadid is raved on this thread but I find her a bad model neck up due to her stubby, nondescript face.  Monika is a proven star and as is Joe, although I find the latter's face rough personally.

Really? I love Josephine's face. As you said different tastes. Jac is great. I would like to see Andreea Diaconu more. She has a beautiful face.

True about Sara and the more exposure she gets the more diva she is. Not liking it

I dont like anything about her attitude. She also considers Candice a perfect role model btw

Just as many people don't get why people DO like them. I dislike Stella just as much as Romee. Flat, just so flat. And I don't think they're pretty at all. But as mentioned, people have varying tastes. 

 

 

 

I like Sara's face. I like her body well enough but it's hit or miss in pictures, though I've never thought it was just out of this world amazing. But her face has a really fierce quality to it that I really like. I don't pay attention to her attitude though; it's honestly never really been something I care about in models. xD

I think Romee is very pretty, but I don't think she's bringing anything new that VS is lacking to the line up. They've already got their blonde bombshells with Elsa and Candice, and both of them have a lot more sex appeal imo. Romee is still quite young. Give her a few more years of experience and maybe she'll be a rockstar for VS, but right now I don't think VS needs her. There's too much of the same going on right now.
