Sorry, but I disagree with you... I like the short. It's something different, I was bored by the commercials with nonesense flashing lights, explosions, etc. One where they tell me an story, and I like the fact they did something like that.

Oh, Christine, I can kind of see that as Martha is clearly not an actress.  But I also like the fact that the short gets up close with her and it helps that she is a beauty.

 

Martha does get some hate though, and I think it's because she looks a bit too boney and sallow.  This is easily remedied, of course.

And i agree with you Anything is better than their soft porn commercial but that short clip aka infomercial aka WTF? Is badly done. Was certainly a good idea on paper but the result is a fail And I've see that story a million time in commercials, in movies & porn movies. Lack or originality much?

Additionally, some find her awkward as a spokesperson, and think her as a 'lesser' Candice.

^ I think VS is to blame for that, they keep putting Martha and Candice together that obviously everyone is going to see how similar they are and then find her lacking compared to Candice because of how VS markets Candice.

 

PR skills can be taught so thats not a big worry. I think Martha would do better without VS, I think if she was made an Angel they'd keep doing the same look on her and everyone would get bored. Her editorial work and even FP shoots are much better then her VS stuff.

 

@Begonia I agree about Bregje with VS she was great in Swim for them, I don't know why they all of a sudden just stopped working with her.

Calling Martha a talentless slutty hoebag would be hate. Saying she is a subpar spokesmodel is merely stating facts.

I totally agree on this! Martha does great editorial work, far more interesting than what she does in VS. I don't like her in the VS works because of that. It looks like she's always with the same face etc. So if she become an angel they will grow her hair, make it VS-ish and it's gonna be boring for everyone haha

 

Thoughts? Remember last time Fulvia took a picture it turned out to be Ale's fantasy bra. Either she got it this year or it's a distraction to bring attention to her and then give someone else the bra.

I would be so happy if Ale got it again, maybe this time they would actually let her have the attention at the VSFS instead of giving it to Candice. Knowing how VS always has her play 2nd par though I could totally see them doing this for some promotion and then keep the FB revealing secret for another angel.

I would love it if she got it again! Fingers crossed for Lily, though. Unless this is Ale's last year then give it to her!
