Candice always seems to come across as fairly shy, which is one of the things so appealing about her. She plays the sexy-but-hard-to-get type.

^and Adriana is any different? Or Alessandra, or Tyra when she was around, or Izabel, or Stephanie Seymour or even Gisele to some extent. They all do it, which leads me to believe it's what VS wants... God knows why, I think the base levels of stupidity that are displayed at these events/launches just needs to stop. There's nothing sexy about the over exaggerated poses and facial expressions. At the last launch the only girl who seemed to have it together and came across as classy was Erin. These women, (yes I said women) not girls need to start acting closer to their age. VS caters to teens yes but it also sells to women 20+ and most women that age do not want to see someone acting like they just hit puberty and have discovered boys.

As for Candice coming across as shy, maybe you're seeing something I'm not but she's always come across as rather to be perfectly blunt stupid. Keep in mind this is just personal conjecture, but Candice's cutesy tee-hee-hee *twirl hair* air headed shyness comes across about as well as Adriana parting her lips to give us her sexiest blow up doll pose.

Honestly, I'm about as impressed with VS these days as I am with Emily D.

Haha. I love Candice, she's my favorite out of the VS bunch because I think she has the perfect look for the company, but I think I finally caught up with everyone else saying she's used way to much.

I realized this as I got the new catalogue in the mail...and couldn't remember the last time Candice wasn't on the cover, the first 20 pages, the coupons, and the birthday card...

I love her, but if you're going to hire multiple models to represent your company, use the other ones too! And Candice needs to go out and do something besides just VS. Hell, go work for SI and get your name out there or something.

At least Candice has a nice body so she's got "something" to be on VS, Chanel on the other hand ... Oh well, i would be glad to buy her a biiig biig burger!

Chanel is pretty and a good model, but she is by far the worst hire VS ever made. At first I thought they'll just keep her doing PINK, which is fine. But then they didn't, and it was bad...

There are so many better choices. Or why not focus on some of the veterans like Oluchi or Ana? I wish they would be more involved with VS.

I can live with the dumb kissy faces, but Chanel takes thing to a whole different level ...

^I like that picture, Erin and Adriana look amazing, and Chanel who is still, (at least in my eyes) a representative of the Pink line fits perfectly. Go back circa 2004 when Alessandra was the pink girl and she acted the exact same way.

The belly shirt and low jeans...get something new VS, they did this with Adriana at her first Major launch, did it with Ale, and so on and so on.

I just wish for once the Angels would do something together, the angels are still around it's just all of them keep getting pregnant...not a bad thing, just shitty for the fans. So now we're always stuck with one or two angels and the other girls at the launches being their "supermodels" meh.

As for Chanel, honestly I don't have an opinion either way whether I like her or not...but it's becoming a joke with who they pair her with. Erin and Chanel were just the supporting cast at this event, and it will be even worse for her coming up here soon. On the tenth Adriana, Doutzen and Chanel are doing an autograph signing for Fashion's night out...how is that going to go? "I got Adriana and Doutzen's autograph...and some other chick" Then on the 14th, the event is Adriana, Alessandra, Candice, Chanel and Erin! Although it will be funny to see Candice really realize how small she is on the scale of things at this event, she'll just fade into the background with the press and the crowd when they show up for Adriana and Alessandra. I use to adore her but since she's being pushed so much it's just ugh!

And whilst my own 'lovelight' for Candice may have dimmed - how exactly is she going to 'fade into the background' alongside Laurel and Hardy there???

Because most of the crowd will be there for Adriana and Ale, along with the press. Taking my being a fan completely out of it, it's obvious after what happened this week and at previous events with the two that is who the press and crowd will be there for. I think Candice will come in a close third and the other two...will most likely just be lost.

As for Chanel, like I said I have no real problem with her. People need to forget the fact how she's dressed. VS ALWAYS does this to their new hot girl, they show her off...like I said they did it to Adriana, they did it to Ale (A LOT) and they even did it to Candice and Miranda. It's not really the girls choice.

i personally think Chanel is adorable, Erin is so endearing, and what about Behati, i wish they would you her more, i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE her quirky, cute mannerism, just find her so easy to like, i'm a DIE hard lima fan, and so ready for her to be back, and i know their are those out there, that just want her to up and fall off the end of the earth, but hell i love her silly goofy side, it makes her down to earth, easy to connect with, Yes she is beautiful, has a great body, and i know thats merely my opinion, but still, i feel her humble, easy going manner, and interaction with her fans & the crowd, is WHY she loved by so many.

As for Candice, im ready TO PUKE already, i look at the wedsite, the catalog, and she has like 30 pics on one page, and you might have a few of Ale, then some of mandy, and a few other VS faves, BUT VS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE STOP THE INSANTY ALREADY, IM OVER THE CANDY LAND GAME, so lets MOVE ON

Is not like that ... Is just that i don't see why on earth she felt the need to wear the stupid shirt like that. There is a reason why VS gave her a long shirt & not a tiny little top. Maybe VS people told her to wear the shirt like that, but if that's the case, they need to think about it a little more, it looks too out of place IMO. Overall, i feel like for her attitude (even outside VS) is always screaming for attention

There are some models i don't like from VS, like Rosie or Lindsay ... But i think they're good when they're in a launch or something, not trying to be in every picture

I didn't say that or mean it that way. (I sometimes wonder if certin people on here can read, because you manage to twist everything I say into something I'm not) I simply meant as a way of press or fans Dri's and Ales will be the overwhelming majority. It doesn't take someone with a lot of knowledge to figure that out! Heck if it was Heidi, Tyra, Adriana, Candice I would say Adriana and Candice will be outshone simply because standing next to the other two they would when it came to press and fans. I'm not saying looks wise at all because whoever anyone's favorite is she'll shine for them.....I strictly meant in press and fans. Just compare the fan to launch ratio to each girl. I'll say it one more time...whoever you are fan of they'll shine the most to you, but what I mean was in terms of fans and press Adriana and Alessandra will overwhelmingly be the attraction.

^not a fan of Adriana, but I have to admit based on launches the numbers that showed up correspondingly for different models kind of points to the fact that Adriana and Alessandra are crowd favorites. both girls are not on my list of favorites but they will probably garner more crowd support then Candice, Erin or Chanel, or any of the other girls at this moment taking aside Rosie, (though even that is debatable).

I have to agree with LS & Pheno. Strictly speaking on a "name" basis Adriana & Ale should and will most likely outshine Candice, Chanel, Lily, Erin, Lindsay or any other model VS sends at them. Now if Tyra and Heidi were to strut walk back into the picture, then you can damn well be sure the audience would take notice over them before Dri/Ale

Any new news guys. There is someone who posts on VSHolics Shoutbox. Her name is lala girl or something. She posts supposed behind the scenes stuff that she or he knows about the show. Like what models, music, where the show is etc. Don't know if it's true or not.

Personally, I think she's full of crap. First of all someone who is working at that level, should be able to type better and more correctly. Second of all, she's suppose to know about casting and who's there for sure and etc...Ummmmm they don't even do casting until a week before. The only girls who are 100% guaranteed now are the Angels and Supermodels. That's it. She won't give specific facts and etc, which is a dead giveaway and most of the stuff in the fashion show is still undecided.
