You know it! I was the same way. If we acted out with grandparents, aunts, uncles, even our parents, we got spanked when we got home. 
Usually, mom would just stop where we were at, and took us home immediately.

If her mom is taking her Guerlain ^^ at 12 for her first perfume I would say yes.

"upper class" I don't know but wealthy yes. Poor girl, Guerlain perfume are for old ladies!

 

At 12 my perfume was

price was around 10 Francs/About 2 Euros

 

 

I was able to buy my own perfume myself at 16 with Baby sitting money

Opium by Yves St Laurent and the lady told me it wasn't a perfume for a young lady

My other "favorite" perfume is "dolce vita" by Dior/Dior's fragrances are my favorite then Chanel "Cristalle" & "Allure"
