^^^  There are only a couple of new ones in there.

 

A while back Disney decided to go with sequels and remakes, and they don't seem likely to change any time soon (mainly because people keep paying to see them).

 

I don't know if there is a specific time you can look at when they started this new strategy, but I think it may have been after they bought Pixar. I'm just guessing though.

^ I felt that hard when I was seeing GOTG. I love the comic book movies and shows so much, but I was sitting in the theatre to see a superhero movie, and got THREE superhero movie trailers before it. The over saturation is real.

I missed this this when you posted but you're right, it doesn't look like she will get one. It seems like they only want to nominate Macy from that show.

 

 

About the Emmy's:

I have not thoroughly looked at the nominations but the first and most obvious thing I noticed was that Tatiana Maslany was not nominated after winning last year. Apparently, she is suddenly not good anymore.

Orphan Black is over so I think that's why  tho they keep nominating Penny Dreadful even after one year from the last episode for minor stuff, so they should have given Eva her well deserved nomination, after she lost (unfairly) her Golden Globe.
