January 21, 200916 yr I doubt any of those reports are true, AS and other sites/mags are experts at making up stuff and even include fake quotes.'Beckham told a friend', 'Emerson said'....all made up
January 27, 200916 yr You are right, but unless Robben comes to Milan it's not happening Looks like Emerson could leave Milan, probably not a bad thing in the big picture.
January 28, 200916 yr I can't believe Flamini doesn't even get to play (when Gattuso is fit). Losing Emerson wouldn't be a problem <_<
January 28, 200916 yr There are so many of these type of allegations now. Haven't Robin van Persie and half of the England football team also been accused over the past few years? I suppose that Robinho does have a bit of a history with his whole "40 condoms" thing. Why's everything gone so pear-shaped with Liverpool, Teddy? Do you reckon that you're keeping Keane or would you fancy aiding Messrs Redknapp and Levy in their quest to reassemble the Tottenham team of 07/08? :sneaky:
February 2, 200916 yr Barcelona fought back from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Santander. Messi scored twice coming off the bench. His second goal was Barcelona's 5000th.

Do you reckon that you're keeping Keane or would you fancy aiding Messrs Redknapp and Levy in their quest to reassemble the Tottenham team of 07/08? :sneaky: Because Liverpool are chokers. That result against Chelsea will change nothing. We'll finish 4th behind Villa and I think Keane will return What is Redknapp doing buying Defoe, Keane and Chimbonda back? You'd think with that money, they could finally find players that are better than them. and there ARE players better and cheaper than them :| Barcelona fought back from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Santander. Benitez made it quite clear that he wasn't the one who signed him in the first place, but selling him puts extra pressure on the Gerrard/Torres pairing. And wasn't there a huge fuss made about Keane and Defoe not being able to play together back in the day?

And wasn't there a huge fuss made about Keane and Defoe not being able to play together back in the day? Keane's sale won't change a thing between Torres & Gerrard (he's not on the pitch). He doesn't gel with anyone and he runs around like a headless chicken so if Rafa wasn't going to use him properly, it was better for him to go. Keane playing would limit Gerrard's role. Also, there's no point playing Keane if there's a better player there already Maybe Bent will be Spurs highest scorer :| Scary stuff :|

Chelsea result was good but you were lucky with the Lampard red card. Hmm, I can't see you finishing behind Villa; Villa have been good but if they get a couple of injuries then I think that they'd really struggle to keep up the pace. I see why Redknapp would go for them. With our league position we need players who are proven in the Premier League. Defoe and Keane are proven and Chimbonda does a job, I suppose. If Spurs brought in players from abroad then it would be a bit of a gamble I think. Also, things really haven't worked out too well with Spurs foreign signings over the past couple of seasons - not that Spurs' domestic signings have been good either - Bentley Also, who wants to go to Spurs at the moment? The Defoe injury is rather irritating. <_<

And wasn't there a huge fuss made about Keane and Defoe not being able to play together back in the day? I didn't quite get where Keane fitted in at Liverpool. Rafa seems to like a 4-5-1, which is rubbish for Keane as he can't play alone up front. If Redknapp can't get Defoe and Keane to play together then it's going to be another couple of frustrating seasons at Spurs. At least the Keane signing heralds the sale of Bent in the Summer.
