Guys, i'm planning to scan some pictures taking from Dutch magazines and post them here and in other groups! But since i'm new to the whole scanning pictures/photos part I was hoping to get some advice. I'm looking for a scanner so that I can scan in some photos/picutres from magazines in good quality? Hope you can give me some advice on different Models Kind Regars

I need some help setting up the cable connections on TiVo. Please No cable box, just the RF cable I have a DVD recorder and player thay I want to keep hooked up to the TV. I haven't been active for awhile, all do to the fact that I dont know my login password for my desktop on Windows XP. I changed it to make it shorter and I must be an idiot because I forgot the password overnight. Do any of you have ideas for me to recover the password? Should I call someone ( windows/ gateway) I dont know what to do Thanks for your help.

my drive were i play cds etc wont read them this has happened before why does it do that and how can i fixed it it used to prompt me what i wanted to when i inserted a cd etc now it doesnt do that help please

For MONTHS i've had a plain black background. Boring right? Well heres why: One day my lil brother decideds to go into my room when I'm not in it, and bang on my keyboard. Ever since then, the icons on my desktop show up black instead of blending in with any background I choose. My computer cannot play a sound file smoothly. It skips and jerks, everytime it plays music files. It wasn't the speakers, as I already tried various speakers. It wasn't the CD-player, as I already burn all the songs into MP3 and saved it on the hard drive. So, what's the problem?
