Let's face it she's a product of the 70s and 80s when they thought smoking, drinking, partying and doing cocaine was healthy

The proof is in the pudding....in Cheryl's case it is in her face/skin :ninja:

My last comment was not related to weight. At this moment I am not going to contribute further to that discussion b/c I have made my point and don't feel incline to repeat myself.

Or she could do what Cheryl is suspected of doing & do it to the extreme and die anyways. Either way she is going to die. Meh.

Quite a few other members seem to be very passionate about this topic, Regardless of the position no one is going to convince each other of anything so it is pointless to further contributing to the conversation making the same points over & over again.

^ Yep I'm done. We shall all just agree to disagree. We all have a difference of opinions whether we agree or not.

One more thing to add Cheryl sounds high as a kite in that video.

These SI threads used to be so much fun and now it's all kinds of sad and idiotic o.o

Hope Barbara and DLO win their respective votings, i have my fingers crossed that IMG fixed it for them.

I'm curious...is Ashley more or less healthy than models that smoke to repress their appetites in order to stay skinny? Or is cancer risk better than a few extra pounds to you guys. Haven't seen anyone whining that Kate Upton's promoting an unhealthy lifestyle with her three SI covers.

Let's face it, none of y'all are actually genuinely concerned about the health of these models. You're just using it as a platform for your fatphobia.

+1000000000000

Ashley weights like 10 pounds more than Kate Upton and pretty sure Ashley takes way better care of herself than Kate does.

Why can't people realize women (like men) come in all shapes and sizes. Some are built quite petite, small, slender, others have bigger bones, more muscle, are taller.

It's not about my fatphobia.

I hope you at least took your time and tried to understand what I'm talking about. Because it seems you not even try. It's easier to call my thoughts stupid and etc. And your idea about smoking and Kate Upton is nothing to do with fat acceptance.

I'm really sorry that you still don't get my point.

:flower: to @Kevork89, I guess you're the only one. (and jj, but you always knew)

Smoking won't show up on a cover. That's also a bad thing, but as far as I know noone started a campaign that let's smoke. I'm really sorry of your society.

In the end of the day it's still better to be skinny, or extremely skinny than overweight.

Do your research if you don't believe me! Or at least read that Guardian article...

I have never started over again btw if not that Cheryl video.

This is like arguing with a brick wall. Keep spouting your ridiculousness.

Well, I feel the same.

Just keep insulting me...

While I might not agree with you all the time doesn't mean your own opinion isn't valid. Everyone is entitled to one. @Lyla

Like I said I think it's a topic that we all have to agree to disagree on. I personally loved Ashley on the cover but people can have their own feelings about it too. And if they didn't like what it promoted well that's their own beliefs and opinions and they're valid.

My problem is not Ashley on the cover. I have no issues with different bodytypes.

My problem is that they sell it as healthy. They can sell it, but not with headlines 'healthy'. And we're getting back to the point what we find healthy/overweight.

It seems ppl living there are praising this, that's why they got this cover. Imo it's dangerous, seeing how huge problem obesity over there.

I thought Cheryl's words were classless, but I don't think she really called Ashley obese.

Basically she said that she represented a beauty ideal she can't identify with.

Which, whilst it might be slightly mean, isn't the same as calling Ashley's body unhealthy.
