Any Green Day fan should read The Story of Green Day

for a quick read... Perks of Being a Wallflower

thick drama thats a bit Gatsby/Fitzgerald... The Rich Are Different

chick fic... Persuasion and Jane Eyre

short classics... The Jungle, This Side of Paradise, 1984, Heart of Darkness, Brave New World

if you've got all the time in the world... Anything by Tolstoy... especially War and Peace. I know it sounds discouraging, but it's worth it. Anna Karenina is just a soap opera!

-Harry Potter of course^^, but also Brave New World (which we just read in school and I completely fell in love with it) and some Ken Follet novels like "Hornet Flight". (Not all of his are good though...).

-"Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" is definitely an all time classic

-but if I had to decide for only one book, I'd definitely chose "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

Anything by Ian Lancaster Fleming is a good place to start before seeing the next Bond Film, do experiment and read them in book order, and not in film order.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Amazing book that has so many different emotions in the story line, and is written amazingly.
