The only names I've been able to recognize in this thread are Taylor (Swift), Miley (humors me to no end) and One Direction and that's only because someone clued me who they were last year, and I still have no idea wtf their music sounds like.

For music guests, I think The Weeknd would be awesome. He has a new album coming out soon and some of the new singles (particularly "Can't feel my face") are more TV-friendly. Also Rihanna was good in 2012. She had presence but also knew her place unlike Taylor.

That's what I thought might happen.

 

It will be the 20th show for VS, and bigger is better.

This is just wishful thinking on my part but they could give a 1 million dollar bra to all 15 angels and make a segment around it. Either way they're going to have to do something bigger then two FB's last year, and if they don't I can see Behati (Adam) or Martha/Lily (Taylor) getting it.

Also, hopefully they'll also ask past Angels to walk for them.

Either VS will get some past Angels to show up in some capacity or they'll make the show even more over the top than usual thinking it'll come across as a big deal and it'll flop. Or both.

Don't get me wrong... I like Taylor, but I don't think i'd be good for VS to bring her again... they need something DIFFERENT this time. I like Miley's music, but as much as I appreciate the fact she's being herself and doing what she want, I just don't think that's the kind of image VS should be associated with. And Maroon 5?, I mean, I like their songs... but they were in the Swim Special, and I just don't want Kaylor 2.0 scenes with Bee and Adam in this year's VSFS.

^ I love the idea of a segment with past angels, but honestly I don't think many would show up. Especially those, who didn't separate on good terms, like Gisele (and she just retired) and Rosie etc.. And I'm sure Miranda, Erin, Doutzen, Lindsay, Karlie, Chanel and Selita won't show up either.

^I just hope VS decides to have performers that are not related at all with any of the models. I'm sick of the same backstage bullshit "I'm going to walk with my best friend taylor singing omg" etc etc. It would be great to have someone performing and not walking in the way and in front of the models. 

 

Also, I think VS is still very tradicional in the way they communicate. I understand that most part of the people just want the 45 min show (and that's ok to show on the TV) but there could be an extended version with more interviews; extra content; backstage videos; unedited runway show,  etc on YouTube. Like a 2h show or then just extra videos that they could show on YT... This way would be good to have past angels there. Idk if with 45 min and 15 current angels there is time to show on TV more than this - and I think the edit will be already a if-you-blink-you-won't-see-the-model kind of thing..

I think that's what he was saying at first, when they asked about the show, but later when they asked about her chances about being an Angel, it really didn't seem like he was that sincere.

I think VS doesn't want the attention to be taken away from the show. A lot of the media would be more focused on the Kardashian clan than on the actual show and I doubt VS would want that especially at the 20th anniversary show.

Exactly and especially sites like eonline would feature the kardashian clan on their site rather than the models walking.

That family is full of controversies like no other.

My thoughts exactly!

It's one thing when VS uses a model for her social media status to bring attention to the show like Cara in 2013, but Kendall has extra baggage that VS isn't willing to share the limelight with.

I'm just thinking of the crazy media circus that happens every Fashion Week whenever Kim and Kanye are attending. Add Caitlyn to the mixture and it'll be Kardashian-Jenner Fashion Show with special appearence by VS Angels.
