whats up with Stella maxwell for vs mainline? i mean she looks good but nothing wow... the background and set for her shoot was pretty amazing girls like Emily didonato in that shoot could look dreamy but they choose Stella and Emily for clothing line... LOL

I'm LOVING Stella for VS. I cringed when I saw she was shooting with them, but she's making me eat my words. I think she looks gorgeous. 

Shooting with the wings means nothing. It's just a prop.

Barbara Palvin was going to be one of their big names... then something happened and now we all know what the situation is. Also, Emily is way bigger than Barbara (two years ago)   She's lovely and her face is stunning but you can see she has gained weight  

Marloes is nothing like Karlie or Candice but she's ....okay like Barbara was back then

Neither Marloes, Emily or Barbara are big. They just happen to have tits & ass, that's not being big o.O ... What it's ridiculous is that VS goes for women who are flat as surfboards when trying to sell lingerie just so they have to retouched them or make them wear bras that are too small just to make them look like they have boobs.

i agree with you MissLimaVzla but you have to remember that we are talking about models, not ordinary girls. Barbara, Emily and Barbara are perfectly normal if you see them as normal girls (even so, they're tall and gorgeous). As models, they have curves and Emily is a heavier... We can discuss what is right and what it is wrong about weight and sizes but for now that's how things work. 

^ They are still normal regardless of their work. There are different sizes and a good part of the industry embraces that, otherwise they wouldn't be successful in their careers.

 

The problem here is the standard VS holds for the models/sexiness, which IMO is ridiculous because Emily and Marloes look a lot better in lingerie/swimsuits than Stella and a most of the girls in their website.

The thing that bothers me the most is her /teeth. The two chiclets she's sporting just put me off her.. (same with Marloes). When she's not smiling I'm okay with her... still meh though.

I don't understand what happened with Barbara either. She was the cover of the Holiday catalog and then buh bye.

 

Also, I had to google Stella. She's ehhhhhhhhhhh. 

Perhaps Barbie didn't want to continue with VS due to her movie offer  which would of taken up a set amount of time that she just couldn't afford to give VS. Telling VS you'd love to work with them, but you need to take a couple months off at an indeterminate date in the future doesn't seem like it would bode well with a company that wants to utilize their girls whenever they want.

 

The simplest answer is usually the correct one. Babs seemed to disappear from a lot of things around the time of rumored role in a movie, same thing happened to Kate Upton.

Adding: Or she could of pulled a Michea Crawford who was offered a contract from VS and multiple shoots with SI IF she lost the weight (which was about 10 pounds). Michea being lazy said "Nope! sorry, take me as is"... and VS/SI said... " We're sorry you feel that way, good luck, and bye"

 

For all we know Barbie could be just as lazy and only work when it's convenient for her.... and no one should fault her for that. not every model is going to respond the same way to the job.

How do people actually get tickets for the fashion show? I remember last year it looked like a couple of posters were actually there. Just curious!
