It premiered on Netflix on February 2, 2018. The series takes place over 350 years in the future, in the year 2384. In the future, a person's memories have been decanted into "cortical stacks", storage devices of alien design which have been reverse engineered, duplicated en masse, and surgically inserted into the vertebrae at the back of the neck. Physical bodies, called "sleeves", are disposable vessels that can accept any "stack". Takeshi Kovacs, a political opera…

FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows,“ a small screen continuation of the world established by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement in the same-named 2014 horror-comedy, is set to premiere on March 27, and the network has this week unleashed two brand new pieces of poster art that show off the show’s vamps with a fun blacklight effect. Set in Staten Island, FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows” series follows three vampires who have been roommates for hundreds and hundreds of years. "Much like the movie, the series follows three vampires who live together: Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Nandor (Kayvan Novak) — the former two are husband and w…

Rant time. I don't get why they spent an entire season on the Kate Kane (is she alive or not) story line only for them to write her out of the show just after she has been resurrected? What was the point? Especially since I think Wallis Day made a great Kate Kane (and she looked a lot more like Rachel Skarten than Ruby Rose ever did if they were meant to be twins). I have the feeling this was them buckling a bit under the pressure. I suspect their original plan was for Kate to retake the Batwoman mantle from Ryan Wilder, but then the show's writers got criticized for the mere potential of them writing Javicia Leslie out of the show. If th…

O.o "American Horror Story", co-created by former "Nip/Tuck" executive producers and current "Glee" co-creators/executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. Thought I should start a thread for this as this is anticipated to be significantly different from 2017 Theatrical version (aka, "Josstic League"). "Zack Snyder's Justice League, commonly referred to as the "Snyder Cut", is the upcoming director's cut of the 2017 American superhero film Justice League. It presents Justice League—the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name—as director Zack Snyder had intended it before he left the production. Like the theatrical release, Zack Snyder's Justice League follows the Justice League: Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot)…

If you like subtle humor and unusual characters, try this one. It's 1/2 hour and the first 2 seasons are on Netflix or Amazon. Eugene Levy and his son Dan came up with the show and both are in it. At first I thought this was going to be one of those shows that is one and done. It walks a thin line between ludicrous and hilarious. David Rose (Dan Levy) and Stevie Budd (Emily Hampshire) are great. Oh yeah, there's Alexis (Annie Murphy) also.

So, Disney finally announced the details of its own streaming service last month and four new MCU shows have since been confirmed, with some of the more popular fringe characters who don't, and probably won't, have their own standalone movies to return in greatly expanded roles. WandaVision The official (and quite appalling) title for the Scarlet Witch/Vision series. Joining the cast is Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who last appeared as a kid in the 90s-set bits of Captain Marvel. In the books, she's also the hero Spectrum. Falcon and The Winter Soldier Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie to return and team up, with Daniel Bruhl t…

Due to the difficulty of obtaining high quality (140MB per 20 min episodes) South Park episodes, I have decided to start a thread on South Park episodes sharing. It is very easy to obtain low-quality South Park episodes (30MB). Note: Please do not start other TV episode or other media such as music sharing thread, unless the maker of the episodes don't mind it. Trey Parker and Matt Stone allow fans to download South Park episodes from the web. Here's a great download site: http://www.sphtml.com/

Daria is an animated TV sitcom that chronicles the adventures of Daria Morgendorffer, a cynical and sarcastic loner at Lawndale High School. Most episodes revolved mainly around how she dealt with the absurdities of life, her relationship with her family (lawyer mom Helen, business consultant father Jake, and ultra-popular younger sister Quinn), and her friendship with Jane Lane, a fellow outcast and an aspiring artist. outpost-daria.com

Is anyone watching this? I have to say that my expectations going in were limited because I'm not Damon Lindelof's biggest fan. Surprisingly this has been a very good TV show, continuing to build upon the universe originally created by Alan Moore and somehow expanding and even improving upon it. The sixth episode was especially great, perhaps the best hour of TV I have seen all year long.

Netflix takes on the infamous Medellín drug cartel in "Narcos," which follows the rise and fall of Colombian kingpin Pablo Escobar and the Drug Enforcement Agency agents hunting him. The story is told largely from the points of view of Escobar, played by Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, and U.S. DEA Agent Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook), on opposite sides of what would become an all-out war. The gritty drama begins with the early days of the drug battle, when the biggest offenders were "hippies in flip-flops" caught with up to a kilo of marijuana, continuing to the violent, bloody battles between members of the cartel peddling tons of kilos of cocaine and drug agents from Colom…
