As time goes on they Hollywood seems to run out of ideas of what to do for movies and has resorted to just turning tons of books into movies or just remaking ones from the past.... over and over. Today I went to the movies and saw a preview for a remake of Footloose! At first, I thought, "Oh no, not another one." but as it went on I saw it was closer to the musical version than the movie and I thought, "It could be okay, if they do it right." It just got me interested in what all of you guys thought. With all the ones they've done. And are getting ready to do... (I even heard about a possible Dirty Dancing remake ) Should they just leave the classics alone? That's why th…

The first full length trailer for Immortals has finally arrived! Critics weren’t impressed with the teaser, so let’s see if their tune changes after watching this round. This new adventure stars Henry Cavill, Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, John Hurt and Mickey Rourke. I love this cast! In the film, the brutal and bloodthirsty King Hyperion (Rourke) and his murderous Heraklion army are rampaging across Greece in search of the long lost Bow of Epirus. With the invincible Bow, the king will be able to overthrow the Gods of Olympus and become the undisputed master of his world. With ruthless efficiency, Hyperion and his legions des…

  5. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a 2011 American science fiction film directed by Rupert Wyatt. The film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow and Andy Serkis. It is a reboot of the Planet of the Apes series. It is intended to act as a foundation with its own origin story for a new film series. Its premise is similar to the fourth film in the original series, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), but it is not a direct remake in that it does not fit into that series' continuity.[4] It was released in the United States, Canada and India on August 5, 2011.[5][6] Plot Will Rodman (James Franco) is a San Francisco scientist who has been trying to develop a cu…

Look super cute You planning to see it? Little known facts about the movie. In Toy Story 1, the character Andy was based after a couple of kids named John Wade and Anthony [leaving out last name] who is my brother. John is one of my brothers best friends and John is the Nephew of real estate mogul Steve Ledson. Steve happens to live across the street from John Lasseter who is the director of Toy Story 1,2 and 3 The many of the visual elements for John Lasseter's movies such as The Incredibles, A Bug's Life, Toy Story and Cars are directly taken from scenery found in my home town of Sonoma CA where John currently lives. In Toy Story 3, the looks of And…

The Cove is a 2009 documentary film that analyzes and questions Japan's dolphin hunting culture. It was awarded the (2010) Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. The film is a call to action to halt mass dolphin kills; change Japanese fishing practices; and to inform and educate the public about the risks, and increasing hazard, of mercury poisoning from dolphin meat. The film is told from an ocean conservationist's point of view. The film highlights the fact that the number of dolphins killed in the Taiji dolphin hunting drive is several times greater than the number of whales killed in the Antarctic, and claims that 23,000 dolphins and porpoises are killed in Japan…

Heathers is a 1989 black comedy film starring Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, and Shannen Doherty. The film portrays four girls in a trend-setting clique at a fictional Ohio high school. The girls — three of whom are named Heather — rule the school through intimidation, contempt, and sex appeal. Heathers brought director Michael Lehmann and producer Denise Di Novi the 1990 Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature. Daniel Waters also gained recognition for his screenplay, which won a 1990 Edgar Award. The film was a U.S. box office failure, but went on to become a cult classic, with high rentals and sales business. In 2006, it was ranked #5 on Entertainment Weekly'…

Hey guys, (if you're a lady, you probably saw the stupid flick only because of your man, right ) what did you think of the movie? I don't what each and everyone thinks of "buzz" in general, but I don't pay attention to "buzz" ... I try to avoid it as much as possible. But I couldn't and noticed that the buzz around this movie was generally negative. So I liked the trailer and loved the movie. I loved the movie, mainly because the really cool stuff wasn't in the trailer. Jokes, action, suspense, twists of the story... Sienna's beautiful smirky smile ... erm... yeah, but the whole thing just rocked. I hope it performs well.

Now, I'm going to honest with everyone. Thor was pretty bad. The story was weak and it didn't seem like a complete thought. The concept of plausible character development was shat on. Shoe-horned romance. The action was crap... Fighting? Awful and over-choreographed. Special effects were below par (except for the visual concept of Asgaard, which is stunning and I enjoyed more than that of Pandora in Avatar). What did I like? It was funny. Funnier than expected. Natalie Portman, who I normally can't stand, was surprisingly likable and beautiful in the role. Chris Hemsworth (more on him later) was surprisingly talented; great acting chops. Everyone was varying degrees of gr…

Or you could mix up there name in a jumble. 5. Try to make it something "mainstream", nothing you knwo only a few people o nthe forum may have seen. 6. it must be confirmed that you are right before you take the next turn, either by a poster or at least 2 or more members. 7. Make sure you say the movie name. 8. Have fun! Let's begin:
