"Machete Kills" is an upcoming 2013 American exploitation action film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. The film will be the third based on Grindhouse fake trailers; the first were "Machete" and "Hobo with a Shotgun". The idea of this thread is not promoting big, recent releases, but either smaller, independent movies that fewer people might have heard of yet, or older classics that might not get that much attention any more. My list, for now: Paths of Glory (1957) One of the most powerfull war movies I have ever seen, and yet, a lot of people seem oblivious to it. It really grips you and shows you the absurdity of war in all it's ugliness. It's even more remarkable, if you consider the herioc tone most, if not all of it's contemporary war movies had. So this is a thing that I have been paying attention to for a while; Do you ever just hear a song on the radio that just fits (a part of a movie) perfectly? There don't even have to be lyrics in it, just the song/rhythm itself would make a perfect soundtrack.
