The girls are never informed of the decision during the callbacks, and unless Danielle was the last one, there would've been other girls who hadn't even attended their callbacks yet that would have to be factored into the final decision. Seeing that she is speaking of "smiling the whole time," I am assuming she is simply talking about her callback.

She's probably just being thankful for the oportunity of going to the castings. I don't like her a lot, actually.

Is it possible that Kendall and her team + Joan were just invited to walk ? 

I think that's how they presented it last year ... except for Joan I really don't wan to see them this year.
