April 27, 20187 yr Wow, I can't wait to see those new photos! I've been waiting for them to release for a long time now!

I honestly think had she dated a little longer, she would’ve definitely worn Candice’s Royal Fantasy Bra in 2013...especially her being British and all she would’ve looked so lovely in it
April 27, 20187 yr I’ve always felt that Rosie was the one who got away. I was so looking forward to seeing Rosie and Candice be the next generation’s Alessandra and Adriana for VS.

April 29, 20187 yr Yeah, that is definitely not a good picture. I don't like any of their facial expressions and I don't like how thin they look. The bras/underwear are ugly too. Maggie is the only cute on in that picture and she even looks awful. wtf VS? they suck as choosing models and pictures anymore.

I love Grace, but I'll be the first to say she's done fuck all for PINK, plus I feel she doesn't fit PINK at all, she's more of a mainline type of girl, and even then I feel that she would come across as mediocre, but not because Grace is a horrible model, but because VS is a horrible lingerie company who has sucked the life, creativeness, energy and sexiness out of their shoots... which isn't necessarily their fault because after all they're trying to cater to a more politically correct feminist group of shoppers that want women to be empowered and not have to "dress up" to feel sexy, and have stopped catering to what men/women want to see in the bedroom. Youth gone wild is Youth who killed the brand. Fun, playful, granny panties & cotton fabrics do not and will never beat a push-up, corsets, garters, and raw sex appeal bordering on raunchy. (in the bedroom) Plus really boring photographers OMEGALUL

April 29, 20187 yr It would be pretty funny if VS joined the brands that were killed by millennials. But millennials get blamed for everything TBH. It’s the companies' fault for not adapting. China seems to be VS’ only hope. They are not doing well in the UK and Ireland. They closed down a PINK store in Canada. Struggling in the U.S. as we all know. In China, they have a possibility because the brand might still seem glamorous there. But who knows how long that will last. My understanding is that Chinese consumers don’t want to shop goods made in China because they associate that with shitty quality.
April 29, 20187 yr We get blamed for every little shit that goes wrong with companies . But tbh, is not our fault VS quality has gone down while the prices have gone up, I can find the same stuff but cheaper in H&M or Aerie, and also more practical and wearable in my daily life. Sure, I love me some lace and stuff every once in a while but am I going to be wearing lace, push ups and rhinestoned uncomfortable things in my daily life? Hell no, just give me a nice cotton bras & panty set and I'm good to go. If anything, I think this generation is more into simple, comfortable things. VS is still the go-to place for bedroom lingerie, but it's for sure not the go-to place for day to day lingerie anymore. Also having like 20 Angels ain't helping IMO, is not helping to make them familiar faces because they are constantly rotating them and no one gets enough shine. Now look at Aerie, they literally have two spokespersons atm and both of them get enough focus to make them big faces, at this point I think both Iskra and Nina are more well known by the average costumer than any of the Angels.

It's not my generation who's buying into VS on a hardcore level, that's been clarified repeatedly by Limited Brands during investor meetings. They're targeting 16 to 24/25 year olds, so therefore by their very words, if it's not my generation, and it's not yours, then who's is it? "They're targeting 16 to 24/25 year olds" VS has trend forecasters who meet with the team on a regular basis, these same forecasters follow mainstream media as well as social media of their core demographic, and then cater to what they see is being focused on. That's how large institution businesses work whether people like it or not. Also enough face time for models doesn't seem to be hurting them at all... In fact their marketing team seems to doing a good job just they way it is. Quote Their brand ethos of skinny, lingerie-clad models catering very much to the male gaze seems out of place in a consumer market that increasingly values a more inclusive view of women – it’s a space being filled by brands such as Aerie, Calvin Klein and Les Boys Les Girls. Like I said, they're moving away from what men want and taking sexy with them... and it's not the older generations that are asking for this. Their targeted use of social is driving Victoria’s Secret brand ranking – helping it win out against other, bigger brands. In the US, Victoria’s Secret comes in ninth in the rankings for most-loved retailer. However, they take pole position when considering data from 16-24 year olds, with VS Pink ranking fourth amongst this key target audience. In the UK, they appear in the Top 10 most considered retailers – a ranking that is driven solely by the younger age group 16-24. The Victoria’s Secret ‘Angels’ such as Kendall Jenner have helped the retailer create positive buzz amongst this younger demographic, cementing it’s place in our Top 10 Buzz performers for this age group in the UK.
