I was a teen in the 90's, I was a big fan of their music.

Oh ok that makes sense. I always got the impression you were into harder stuff.

I wonder how she died. OD? :idk:

I listen to a variety of music. During the late 80's (11-13) I was into the Punk/Grunge/BabyBat scene.

Lollapalooza 91 (15 years old) really got me into the goth genre, then I started to fully transition into Goth by 1994-1995, but I still listened to anything that was on the radio (we didn't even have Napster then so finding new music was hard, fortunately for me I was in San Fransisco so I got inundated with amazing goth/industrial bands. A lot of us didn't have CD players in our cars so I got stuck listening to music that I wouldn't of necessarily enjoyed, over time I enjoyed it and built some awesome memories around certain songs.  Fast forward to 2018 I basically only listen to music from the 60's to 90's with $UICIDEBOY$ being one of the few new bands I actually listen to on the regular and enjoy. I legit have 99% no idea who is on the radio (do people still listen to the radio? )

That sucks!

Hopefully she doesn’t linger as a zombie  :nicole:

She was always a big musical crush for me.

The 90s were great. And she was great :guitar:

So great ...

Blue Monday? Buy-your-Prozac day? WTF? So, that's a new marketing BS everyday now :banghead:

Let's see:

- 90s in my hometown: New Year, Epiphany, Easter, Christmas, friends, family. Few occasions to consume BS. Rational newspapers. Great music. Happier life.

- 2018 (Everywhere. It's all the same): blue Monday, after work Thursday, casual Friday, black Friday ("WTF!" every day :ermm:), New year, epiphany, valentine's day, halloween.... spring/summer/autumn/winter sales, pre-sales, private sales, super sales, more sales, sales, sales. Crappy music, crappy media, and a blue bird tweeting too much!

Aren't you happy dear consumer? Aren't you? They tell you to be :rofl:

For all those f'in idiots talking about a first strike on North Korea, why don't you put your family members in the cities near the DMZ and ask yourself that question again...

...DUMB ASSES!

- 1997: big fuss in France, because a TV channel put one advertising break during a movie (whose producer asked not to have any ad). The rule, back then, was 0 or 1 break during a long movie. There were articles, debates (even in my school) and claims.

- 2018: 5 advertising breaks during a 40 minute episodes of TV series:rofl:  Thank you Progress for making us a better life! We owe you so much :banghead:

Spoiler

(anyway, nobody's watching the tv now...)

I definitely see what you mean :stormy:  We used to have fake "tapes" with audio jacks, so that the car could play CDs we put in our portable CD players  The sound quality was crappy, but those were great times.

What channel are you watching? TF1 or M6 is 2 advertising break during a 45 mnts tv series. And sometimes another one between 2 episodes.  2 is already annoying as fuck so 5?!

I watched some series on a TNT channel (NT1, NRJ12 or some trashy stuff like that) at my cousin's (I don't have a TV and, with their ads all the time, I don't wanna have one ; Internet is way better)  At some point, I stopped following the series  (it might actually have been two episodes)

What I really hate is that they boost the volume during the ads! :ninja:  They're basically saying "hey brainwashed consumer, now it's time we fill your ears with our trash".

Oh OK ^^ I get it now. TNT channels are different. As I have Canal+ box with the replay I can watch everything without advertising break.

And YES about the volume!! OMG! How can you have a nice nap in front of the TV, seriously??:D

Haven’t seen the movie but I really love Kylo Ren’s unique look:

A perfect example of someone who is not conventionally attractive but still has something very alluring about them.
