This is really a difficult thing for the press. There are studies which clearly suggest that high-profile suicides do inspire other people to try and do the same thing. But it's also weird to consider a world in which a famous person takes his own life and the press does not report on it?

Bourdain had years of using hard drugs before in addition to depression. He probably had a relapse on drugs and therefore wasn't in the right frame of mind and hung himself. Chris Cornell did the same thing.
