Human heater?

You certainly have a big thermomètre?

 I'm a very versatile human heater. In the bed, bathroom, even in the car :o And not so pricey :p

A very effective thermomètre. A single touch turn me on

The DNC obviously has a lot of soul-searching to do.

They would probably need to change the ideal vision of the ideal american:

4 college degrees (3 of them defunct and now worthless), working for a software startup, drinking green juices, using an iphone, and living in a small organic house...

getting into their self-driving tesla to go to an air-conditioned office 60 hours a week while working from home 20 hours more

wearing lululemon at the gym and doing yoga 3 times a week.

3 kids, 2 of them which are adopted from the third world

spending most of their disposable income on the latest ephemeral fads

meager retirement savings into Vanguard ETFs, annuities, and mutual funds

while surrendering 2/3rds of their income to the gov't

I had been wondering if Trump was planning some sort of special closing argument. He did not disappoint. In my opinion, his final ad is the political ad of the year, if not the best ever. Watch it here first and I’ll include my thoughts below.

...

The writing for Trump’s speech is great. The editing is great. The production is great. The visual artistry is fantastic. This one will be studied for a long time, not only for its persuasion excellence and production values but also for its strategic timing.

19C in November in Canada. :ninja: This is usually May/June weather here. They've postponed the ski season opening almost two weeks now.

according to Trump, global warming is a lie ^^

It's too late to do anything about that anyway. The Paris accords are a joke. At best, the difference between Trump and Clinton was a few decades before the really bad effects start to impact our daily lives. It's pretty scary to think what will happen once the mass migration starts, considering the chaos created in Europe by just a couple of million Syrian refugees.

I think I need to stock up on wine, tequila, vodka and popcorn.

It's going to be a bumpy ride these next four years me thinks, regardless of who won the main vote.

Unless you are a member of a targeted minority, you will probably not feel an immediate impact to your life, other than the abolition of Obamacare.

Marriage equality might be repealed but I very much doubt even a conservative SC would dare to touch Roe vs. Wade.

The immediate impact will probably be much greater abroad, more for what Trump won't do (supposedly) than for what he will do.

If he is true to his word, he might become the first isolationist American president since the 1930s.

I know the Paris accords are a joke but people saying global warming doesn't exist are the biggest joke.

I think by the time of the Paris accords, it was already too late to a certain extent.

We still had the opportunity to limit the effects a bit if we had fully hit the brakes on our carbon emissions with the deal reached there.

The deal we got instead will fall well short of realizing even a best case scenario.

I’d be curious to know whether Trump’s camp calculated that he could throw away the Latino votes and still win because of the election system and because his talk about building a wall etc. would appeal to enough white people to offset the loss of Latino voters.

He got more of the Latino vote than Romney in 2012, which is crazy when you think about it.

China is the world's biggest auto market and with USA/China/India the emissions is just too difficult to control.

The Paris accords are a global failure.

That's if you fear the result

With the protectionism, outside of the military stuff it sounds like he just wants to bring back economic nationalistic policies that were present pre 1980s.  It looks like Germany, South Korea, and Japan have quite similar regimes actually.  European countries also come across as being tougher on immigration and citizenship than the US currently is.

I talked too much about politics today, that's enough for the next 4 years lol
