Mickiala Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I agree Brenlynn so far cards vs mets is the only series in the whole post season that hasn't been boring. Quote
k_dub Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Yeah, The Mets and Cards are making this NLCS interesting. Still, I don't think either team has what is takes to beat Detroit. The Cards might make the World Series interesting since their starting pitching is intact. The Mets are a good hitting team, but as they say, good pitching stops good hitting. The Tigers got Kenny Rogers, Jeremy Bonderman, Nate Robertson, and Jason Verlander. Quote
brenlynn Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 i agree, the tigers will most likely go all the way.i'm all for it now, since they were the ones who knocked out my yankees... they mine as well make it worth it and take it all. i was rooting for the a's before, though... i love barry zito. k_dub Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 DAMN!!! That was one hell of a GAME!!! It had the drama of a GREAT ACTION MOVIE!!! High drama till the VERY END!!! The Cards prevailed at last, and are now headed to Detroit. The Tigers are the superior team, but I think the Cards will make the World Series interesting. The rotation of Weaver, Carpenter, and Suppan is decent enough. Still, I got Detroit winning in six. But hey, the Mets-Cards series was VERY ENTERTAINING!!! Quote
Mickiala Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 It was a really great game the best game of the post season, the mets blew it soooo many times, I agree that Detriot is going to take it. Quote
chiva474128 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Congratuations to the St. Louis Cardinals. So much for all the talk about NL teams playing for second-place, huh? Only 13 days left until the hot stove starts heating up. Quote
brenlynn Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 that was the most boring world series, ever.i can't wait for all the trades and free agency signings! Quote
MaususOner Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 who heard about the A's moving to Fremont?if you haven't well there you go..they say that it will be around the 2008 era or something like that..but I also hear rumors that the raiders want to move too...That's a big shame... Quote
