I haven't seen the movie but based on what I read, it doesn't seem so different from say Catherine Hardwick's "Thirteen", so is the problem here that it's a French director's film and not an American's? Obviously the way Netflix marketed it was fucked up, but they now seem to be blaming the director for a mistake made by Netflix?

Maggie is gorgeous but she is wasted at VS. Their art direction is now so very dull and super-repetitive.

Carmela is an absolute cutie pie, I actually prefer her videos to her pictures because her personality shines more in video.
Maybe her life of crime has made her age prematurely.
I think the main issue is that she only had it done after she was already famous? If this was the only version of Charlotte we had ever seen, it wouldn't be much of a problem.
