Weirder (to me at least) than the electoral college is the fact that Wyoming (population 570K) has the same amount of senators as California (population just under 40 million). So the two California senators represent 70x as many people as their counterparts from Wyoming. And this is supposed to make sense because... I'm aware of the so-called Connecticut compromise, but we are now well over 200 years later, the population realities in the U.S. are vastly different than they were back then.

I haven't seen the movie but based on what I read, it doesn't seem so different from say Catherine Hardwick's "Thirteen", so is the problem here that it's a French director's film and not an American's? Obviously the way Netflix marketed it was fucked up, but they now seem to be blaming the director for a mistake made by Netflix?
