I'm quite surprised no one created this topic already. I gotta say I'm looking forward to see this movie and I'm also sad that Paul Walker didn't live to finish it.

I was recently surprised to hear of new World War 2 film that is centered around tanks. I do not have high expectations for it yet, but a war film centered around armored and mechanized warfare is rather rare and deserves mention. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fury_(2014_film) The story and the unit patch instantly reminds me an ill fated raid launched by General Patton to save US prisoners-of-war: Could this film be about Patton's raid??? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Task_Force_Baum Set photos: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2439334/Brad-Pitt-turns-English-countryside-warzone-location-Shirburn-new-film-Fury-Shia-…

Hey guys, (if you're a lady, you probably saw the stupid flick only because of your man, right ) what did you think of the movie? I don't what each and everyone thinks of "buzz" in general, but I don't pay attention to "buzz" ... I try to avoid it as much as possible. But I couldn't and noticed that the buzz around this movie was generally negative. So I liked the trailer and loved the movie. I loved the movie, mainly because the really cool stuff wasn't in the trailer. Jokes, action, suspense, twists of the story... Sienna's beautiful smirky smile ... erm... yeah, but the whole thing just rocked. I hope it performs well.

  8. "Giù la testa" is an Italian movie on the Mexican revolution, made by Sergio Leone with Ennio Morricone's music. Initially it was called "Giù la testa, coglione" (translated by "Duck, you sucker" in English), but it was censored. It was finally called "a Fistful of dynamite" in English and "Il était une fois la révolution" in French (none of theses titles being related to the Italian title ). Whatever the title, it's a great movie. Do you know/like this movie and its music? Cast: Rod Steiger: Juan Miranda James Coburn: John H. Gone with the Wind, first published in May 1936, is a romantic novel and the only novel written by Margaret Mitchell. The story is set in Clayton County, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia during the American Civil War and Reconstruction[1] and depicts the experiences of Scarlett O'Hara, the spoiled daughter of a well-to-do plantation owner. The novel is the source of the extremely popular 1939 film of the same name. TitleThe title is taken from the first line of the third stanza of the poem Non Sum Qualis eram Bonae Sub Regno Cynarae[2] by Ernest Dowson: "I have forgot much, Cynara! Gone with the wind." The novel's protagonist, Scarlett O'Hara, also uses the title phrase in a…

  20. The idea of this thread is not promoting big, recent releases, but either smaller, independent movies that fewer people might have heard of yet, or older classics that might not get that much attention any more. My list, for now: Paths of Glory (1957) One of the most powerfull war movies I have ever seen, and yet, a lot of people seem oblivious to it. It really grips you and shows you the absurdity of war in all it's ugliness. It's even more remarkable, if you consider the herioc tone most, if not all of it's contemporary war movies had. Stalag 17 (1953) The ultimate POW camp movie, imho. I prefer it to the Great Escape even. It's probably closer in tone to Hart's War. …
