  1. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

    Started by avadakedavra,

Hitting theatres November 18th, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the next in the (to be) seven book series turned movies by J.K. Rowling. Based in Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, we find our scarred hero attending the Quidditch World Cup (and running into trouble), as well as taking part in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. In this movie we will meet several new characters, as well as see the rebirth of the Dark Lord Voldemort (played by Ralph Fiennes) I imagine everyone has read this book, at least everyone will before seeing the movie. I'm pretty much guessing it'll be a lot like the third, where you had to have read the book to…

It couldn't be easier, simply name the movie that the screenshot is taken from. Whoever has their guess confirmed by the original poster can then post a shot of their own. Rules: If no one can guess the movie correctly within 2 days, the poster must provide clue(s) When a guess has been made and the poster does not confirm the guess within 2 days, someone should PM the poster to remind them to stop by the thread. Those who guess successfully must post a new screenshot within 24 hours of having their guess confirmed. If that amount of time passes without the game being moved on, they forfeit their turn and it becomes a case of 'first come first served'.…

My Punisher movies ideas? My idea for ho The Punisher would have been put on film would have been more fan boy friendly. For those who want to see my SPiderman 3 idea, click my profile and read about it. That would have ben the Punisher's first ever film appearance. Now for the Punisher films/spin-off's of SPiderman 3. The 1st one would have the Punisher go up against the Gnucci Brothers Bobby(Micheal Imperioli) and Eddie(James Marsden). Also, in my universe, the punisher is being played by Tom Jan as he fit the role but the writers and director were incompetent. Eddie survives this movie to become once again one of the main villains along with Ma Gnucci(Jessica Lange) a…

Yippee-ki-yay! Bruce Willis is back as super cop John McClane in the fifth movie in the "Die Hard" franchise. John McClane travels to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, Jack, only to discover that Jack is a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear-weapons heist, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces. Cast includes Jai Courtney, Amaury Nolasca, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir, and Cole Hauser (besides, of course, Bruce Willis as John McClane). (most are 3-4MB)

The film is still being cast and Tarantino is yet to start shooting, but the first teaser has been leaked (it was shown in selected American cinemas last week before screenings of 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For'), hence the starting of the topic. Official synopsis reads: The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard when a pitiless and mistrustful group are trapped together by circumstance. Stuck together on a stagecoach the eight, including a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner, hole up in a saloon in the middle of nowhere. http://youtu.be/-6…

  13. For whatever reason, horror movies and creepy kids seems to go together like cookies and cream, Cheech & Chong and Freebie and the Bean. Over the years, we’ve been witness to enough unsettling tykes to fill what would officially be the world’s least desirable summer camp. So sit back, enjoy this pre-pubescent collection—and be thankful they ain’t yours! 16. Look super cute You planning to see it? Little known facts about the movie. In Toy Story 1, the character Andy was based after a couple of kids named John Wade and Anthony [leaving out last name] who is my brother. John is one of my brothers best friends and John is the Nephew of real estate mogul Steve Ledson. Steve happens to live across the street from John Lasseter who is the director of Toy Story 1,2 and 3 The many of the visual elements for John Lasseter's movies such as The Incredibles, A Bug's Life, Toy Story and Cars are directly taken from scenery found in my home town of Sonoma CA where John currently lives. In Toy Story 3, the looks of And…

Earlier today I stumbled upon quite an interesting video detailing the development and eventual cancellation of George Miller's unmade Justice League project. Given what Miller accomplished with the Mad Max series, his vision for Justice League was always one of my favorite "what ifs" in the world of film, but being reminded of that got me thinking about how many more "what ifs" were out there. Are there any others, regardless of genre, era or reason for cancellation, that stand out as good examples?

I have this scene in my head, hopefully someone knows what it's from... some guy (probably not too tough) gets the snot beat out of him, I think in a bar. he's tossed out on his butt. I'm not sure if he goes right back in, or comes back after a while, but he goes back in and smacks a lot of guys around. I think it's unexpected, because he's not a bruiser himself. when he re-enters the bar, the bouncer steps to him and says something like "well, what the fk do you want??" after which he gets thrashed... anyone? thanks!

Which directors, actors, writers, or even producers have created projects in the past that cause you to assume you will like their new project before seeing it? Or another way to ask it, whose work do you enjoy frequently enough that you are excited for whatever they are creating next? You could also include people you immediately assume you won't like their new work. Important note: Just because you assume you will like someone's work beforehand doesn't mean you have to like it after viewing it. It's not highly probably to like everything from any one artist. I started this thread here in movies, but it could easily be used for televis…

Partially inspired by Cara Delevingne, who you may remember from such films as Suicide Squad and Valerian. Looking at her IMDB page, she's had a few other castings over the last couple of years, although I don't recognise many of the titles so I'm not altogether sure of how big they were. Anyway, leaving aside the more obvious fashion-centric fare of things like Zoolander or Neon Demon, what are some other movies with models that most people mightn't otherwise know about and most importantly, were they any good?

April April 15th The Amityville Horror On November 14, 1974, police received a frantic phone call that led them to a grisly crime scene at the Defeo residence in Amityville, Long Island – an entire family had been slaughtered in their beds. In the days that followed, Ronald Defeo confessed to methodically shooting his parents and four siblings while they slept. He claimed "voices" in the house drove him to commit the murders. One year later, George and Kathy Lutz and their children moved into the house thinking it would be their dream home. But shortly after sett…
