Michael Jackson dead at age 50 (Source: Reuters) Pop giant Michael Jackson, who took to the stage as a child star and set the world dancing to exuberant rhythms for decades has died. CNN has confirmed with the LA coroner that Jackson is dead. "Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times," the LA Times newspaper reported on its website. I recently started listening to Megadeth fairly heavily. Now, quite a long time ago I had gotten the album Youthanasia from the local library, and I really liked it. After that I always found some reason to keep putting off buying an album. Finally, this Christmas I used one of my gift cards to buy Rust In Peace. I was deeply impressed. I was expecting an album with a few good tracks, and a lot of filler. But it's really solid all the way through; sure, some tracks aren't as good as "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" or "Hangar 18," but songs like "Poison Was The Cure" and "Lucretia," that aren't nearly as well known, are brilliant. Researchers were trying to find out what people's taste in music revealed about their lifestyles. The UK study also revealed that blues buffs are the most likely to have received a driving penalty. Hip hop and dance music fans were more likely to have multiple sex partners and were among the biggest drug-takers surveyed. More than 2,500 people were interviewed for the study, which was published in the scientific journal Psychology of Music.
