Manicure Darlene
This is a forum for posting pics of celebrities and usually it is expected that these pics are of real events that happened in real life, however technologies like Stable Diffusion are advancing really really fast and it is already creating very realistic pictures that soon enough the average person won't be able to identify as AI-generated. Here are some examples I found online. These pics below ARE ALL AI-MADE (these women don't exist) and it's EXTREMELY easy to just tell the algorithm to replace their face with that of Emma Watson or Kendall Jenner (I could post some but they are all actual porn). If you don't believe these images are AI, look closely at their hands and eyes which are always (for now) dead giveaways. So what will the admins do when people start posting entire 30-picture sets of made up photos of Kendall Jenner in some bogus event? Is that gonna fly or there will be a site-wide AI image ban? Thanks.
Manicure Darlene
You admins catching my drift? We have a situation. Bellazon will be inundated by AI images of celebs and models real soon. There's this software called Dreambooth whose only purpose is doing faces and it works perfectly. Are you creating a subforum for AI pics?
Prettyphile
I suppose if we run into them we delete them? I personally don't think they should be allowed

Go here https://civitai.com/ and click "celebrity" at the top. It's only a matter of time until these AI models become indistinguishble from real photos and these celebrities have million of photos of themselves online to train from. Some are already pretty flawless if you look at them. Some are already indistinguishable. You could literally tell the software "Ana De Armas wearing red dress and heels in a party", generate 60 pics of it and then boom you've just fooled the entire community. all fake ⬇️

DarthSyphus
That is very interesting, some of the models across different pictures of the OP look like the same person. I don't know much about AI, but is it possible to create a "fake person" and make them appear in different settings/ages/makeup/clothes etc.? Or are the similar looking models the result of similar prompts to the AI? I think some AI is really well made and has even an artistic quality to it, but if it is ever on this site, it would be nice if it was on its own section and not intermingled with real photographs of real people. Cult Icon
there is one thread of an AI generated face that has made for money (social media) on this forum. I forgot her name. Years have passed and the AI model still fools people. There are even youtube videos celebrating 'her' beauty lol

Yes that is a current limitation that you have in some situations. If you include more than 1 person, they will have the same face (like in the pic below). There's a workaround though. 52 minutes ago, DarthSyphus said: I don't know much about AI, but is it possible to create a "fake person" and make them appear in different settings/ages/makeup/clothes etc.? Given you have the knowhow, you can easily create a photo using Stable Diffusion with a woman in it and then switch her face with another celebrity's (assuming body shape and all matches together seamlessly). DarthSyphus
Imagine if AI kills modeling and for the next five hundred years we just see artificial pictures created with early 21st century training sets Let's hope not.

I doubt anyone here will be able to tell reals from fakes, especially in the coming months when the tech refines further.
Prettyphile
I honestly don't care and yes you can tell at least some of them are very fake. I'm just waiting for input back from the other staff so we know what to do about them. @phenobarbie @maddog107 @Joe > Average @SympathysSilhouette @Clauds @PinkCouture
Joe > Average
My personal feelings are that I have always hated highly photoshopped pictures from actual events and photoshoots. In light of such, I dislike this even more. That said, AI is coming... Also, as much as I detest it, I'm not sure that it violates any of the site's rules. A subforum dedicated to it could also be an option for those who have a particular interest.
SympathysSilhouette
We are years (as in a couple at most) away from AI generated photographs that will be entirely indistinguishable (at least without the help of specialized software). I know folks are still making fun of how poorly the current algorithms handle say human hands, but the idea that this will not get much better - and in a relatively short amount of time - is wishful thinking. So I'm not even sure if it would be feasible for us to avoid hosting any AI creations. That would imply investigating literally every single post made for the authenticity of the photographs therein included. That is not realistic.
