OK guys maybe I am alone in this. I am definitely a HUGE Candice fan (in terms of her work in VS and lots of her editorial work) but I was expecting SO much more from her this year (and of course more from VS as well) but I'll be entirely honest. The hair/make up was NOT a fit on her this year. Her backstage pictures - NONE of them made me go oh WOW! Like her pictures have in the past. Her runway looks... Sure, the outfits themselves were not amazing but she did not look amazing!!!! She was so lackluster...so many NON angels out shined her this year. It was disappointing for me. Truly disappointing . I mean some girls were given fugly outfits (adri- superheroes segment, but she still WORKED it!) I know it's not fair to compare candice/adri but I'm just saying... she fell so flat for me this year it wouldn't have mattered whether she was there or not.

I think the problem with me for VS in the past few years is how they try to change the girls so much. I was watching youtubes of the shows in 2005 and 2006 and the women looked different. First of all, they actually SHOWED their lingerie. Secondly, it doesn't seem like they made these girls fake tan themselves into oblivion. Is it saying something when Candice looks 10x better in her fittings than she does during the actual show? Candice has been the best addition they've added since Miranda. But I agree with what some people are saying. This was not her best look this year. However, it's not her fault.

And I agree with you cherrybomb this year was not Candice's best VSFS. I feel like maybe the looks she was given were too grand(?) for her maybe. Like she does better in outfits that are just lingerie/ simple (like last year in the heavenly bodies segment) since she doesn't really have a big, outgoing personality like Adriana who VS could of put a bunch load of crap on her and she still would have shined. Maybe it'll look better with the editing. But I don't think anything will beat her 2007 walk for me (When she came out after Miranda in that pink segment it was like WOW, who is she :shock: ). Her 2008, 2010 and 2009 walk following closely behind, and hey all Angels have a weak year no, it just happens this years was Candice's at the VSFS.

Candice looks amazing in anything but in the i put a spell on you costume ,for example, if they take off that sheer top thing (I don't know what it's called ) her outfit would be 10x better imo. just the wings, lingerie and can even keep the train in some form. simple works and i still think that the older VSFS were better.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way And unlike someone said here, I DON'T think it was a bad year for Candice cause I DON'T think it was her fault. We've watched her throughout the whole year. Her pictures at the beach, even the candids, were either adorable or f*cking hooooot. Whenever there was a commercial, she looked just as beautiful. In every video the other angels would appear, she would always be the center of attention, at least to me. I do think it's VS fault cause her make up was boring, her outfits were boring, even the wings! And I've noticed the same about her tan and backstage pictures. They were always adorable... I even think some pictures showed a Candice that doesn't even exist! I'm really disappointed. NOT with Candice, at all... she has done an AMAZING job this year, in fact I think it was her best year... and that's how VS thanks her. Not fair to our angel

I agree! I wish VS would return to the simplicity of the older shows. I think they feel pressure to outdo themselves every year, but it's much better when it's simple lingerie. For example, this year Miranda wore the Fantasy bra inside some kind of seashell wing contraption but in the 2006 show - Karolina wore just the bra, undies and "normal" wings and she looked stunning.

As for Candice, I agree the ski bunny outfit was my favourite! But this is a close second
