Candice Swanepoel says New York City is just like she pictured it — only better.

The South African supermodel graces the cover of the inaugural issue of My Town magazine, with 16 artistically naked pages inside.

“I expected [New York City] to look like all the movies I’d seen as a little girl growing up in South Africa — and it was exactly what you would expect and more,” Candice told the magazine, which is published by the Town Residential real estate brokerage. “Sometimes, when I am driving around or in a cab, it still feels like I’m in one of those films.”

Heated-up bachelors, be forewarned: Swanepoel is off the market, having just announced her engagement to model boyfriend Hermann Nicoli.

Really interesting!

I have always liked New York. 

whenever i read "artistically naked" I never get my hopes too high...

 

I mean it's Candice, so surely they'll be amazing because the woman is so beautiful she never takes a bad photo...

 

but the artistic part means the digital editor/producer has creative editorial rights to alter the photos however they see fit... meaning use of weird colors, lighting, black and white, etc.

 

too often the "Artist" rendering makes the photos far worse than the original copies.

 

I'll cross my fingers this particular artist won't go overboard, because let's be honest, Candice doesn't need ANY help looking better
